Can we do historical villains? Nero was a real creep (not only did he have his own mom killed he also slaughtered a bunch of Christians too), and so was Joseph Stalin.

Hitler was worse than both of them combined.

But not as evil as Barney.... *shudders*

Darn! You guys stole my worst villain from History!
Anyway, my worst anime villain is definitely Naruko from Inu-Yasha. He makes it so...personal for them!
As far as American villains go, I've always felt that Ra's al Ghul and The Joker were definitely bone-chilling. I mean, Ra's has brainwashed his OWN FLESH AND BLOOD into his rhetoric (and let's not even mention what happended in Batman Beyond). And as for the Joker? hm let's see:

• Killed Robin
• poisoned fish so they'd have his trademark smile
• crippled Barbara Gordon
• took over Tim Drake's body in the Batman Beyond movie
• poisoned many make-up products in the Batman movie

And that's just off the top of my head.
My fave movie villain? No contest--Emperor Palpatine.
My fave book villain? Puzzle from the final book in the Chronicles of Narnia. He was sooo bad.

K, taking another tack with this...personally i thought Sauron wasn't that good of a villian in LOTR...I mean, he's never there to be evil! He's just a big eye, and that's...really not that scary.

Scary villains? Not sure I can think of any. When I was younger Chucky (Child's Play) used to scare the heck out of me (never saw the movies thankfully but the movie covers and commercials were still there), but that's mostly gone now.
If we're just talking about creepy things though, spiders really creep me out. >_<

I think the villain that sucks the most would have to be an evil vacuum cleaner.

But the only villain that ever scared me was Rick Moranis as Dark Helmet. When he schwartz-crushed that one guy's... well, let's just say it's more threatening than Vader's force choke any day.

the true villains are the ones that are small the blood suckers which would be moscuites(sp?), ticks, leaches, and my little brother (he bit a bird that we found when he woke up he had blood over his face and the bird had 2 holes in its neck like it was bit), and then of course there are the animals with no or more than four legs which are the snakes, insects and aracnids(sp) who slithers over the ground just to move or eat things bigger than they are, or who flys around distracting a person while the others come in and suck the persons blood, or who spins a web to capture a meal or dig a hole and put a trap door over it and then lay lika a million eggs they're freaks of nature and so are clowns what with the painted faces and the fake tears and the fact that it seems they cant feel pain when you kick them in the shin *raises up and shouts* ALL I HAVE MENTIONED ARE E-V-I-L THEY MUST BE DESTROYED *stops shouting* or a least have the numbers of them decrease

The schedulers on Adult Swim.They are oure EVIL.They must be eliminated or else
assimilated into the Borg Collective.By the way that they keep changing the
schedule.They are more EVIL than Naraku and Knives put together.They are EVIL
incarnate.Anime Unleashed,IMO isn't as bad.But AS is simply SATANICALLY EVIL.
They must DIE!DIE!DIE!DIE!
Ok...*feels the urge to calm down before cursing the schedulers of AS with being
forced to watch endless reruns of Outlaw Star and Sailor Moon forever.*
