North of the 38th parallel

A lot of people have thier focus on the middle east these days and North Korea sometimes is overlooked.

After seeing a documentary on the History channel about the suffuring of the people of North Korea (Brainwashing, Concentration camps, Starvation, Hate, Isolation, Need I go on any further?) I was moved to put the Country up on the CAA Prayer List.

I know personaly that before I saw that North Korea documentary, North Korea was the furthest thing on my mind. Thats changed.

They need our prayers and our help.

Well I havn't missed the trouble in North Korea. Their leader is a madman, who is a threat to everyone, even himself. Evil dictators are a bane on this world and the people of North Korea need our prayers. People all over the world need our prayers because there is much oppression. There are evil men who would rob the freedoms of good people everywhere. Africa is chalked full of vile warlords who starve the people they enslave. The western part of the former U.S.S.R. is also suffering from much of the same, mass genocides, and brutal enslavement. The world needs our prayers, but it needs more then that. It needs for us to stay informed and not be lulled into a sleep that says there in no evil. We need to be aware of the evil, for if we don’t know it’s there then how can we combat it?
Live your life, love the Lord, and don't forget to laugh...

God help them. I agree with this post in every way. My heart especially goes out to our brothers and sister who are persecuted in those countries. I really need to discipline myself to have a more consistent prayer life for these things that can be easily forgotten for those of us in the fat, spoiled U.S.

Amen.

I saw on that certain documentary I watched a woman who managed to escape from N.Korea and found faith in Christ when she visited a church.

I can't devuldge all the details because of my accursed air-headed way of missing detail, but it was moving. I can only hope such events happen much more frequently.

He wants them to learn to walk and must therefore take away His hand; and if only the will to walk is really there, He is pleased even with their stumbles.

Healing hands of God have mercy on our unclean souls
once again. Jesus Christ, Light of the World, burning
bright within our hearts forever. Freedom means love
without condition, without beginning or an end. Here's
my heart, let it be forever Yours, only You can make
every new day seem so new.

Nail pierced hands they run with blood
A splitting brow forced by the thorns
His face is writhing with the pain yet it's comforting to me
