I'm worried about my parents...

Postby Shao Feng-Li » Sat Jun 18, 2005 11:47 am

They've been fighting often in the last couple of months. Myu dad has issues and I know not what they are but I over hear a lot. My mom's so loud, and it's pretty easy to hear a whole fight. It's driving me crazy. I don't care whose fault it is. Obviously this is getting you guys nowhere. Both of you go to the pasor and see what can be done. Anmything is better than your stupid fighting and keeping me awake and crying at night.

Please pray fro my dad. He needs help. And he is trying. He prays ands reads his bible and talks to the paster frequently. Please pray for my mom. She's had it. My dad told me that he hurt (in a mental sense) and has broken her trust.

Please pray that I don't become angry with my parents. While it is my dad's fault, I can't bring myself to say it. Pray that I can pray fpor them, because it's very hard for me because I get so upset.

I prayed.

Remember that you need to forgive them, or God won't forgive you.

If you're having trouble, ask him to change your desires, or to help you with your emotions. Tell your father the same thing. :)

Okay. I prayed for them. May God bless you.

I...kinda worry about my parents falling into a similar situation. Due to things about my dad that I'm not sure my mom knows but I worry about her finding out. It's nothing huge, just kinda....bad. I guess the biggest thing is to be aware of the fact that your parents are human, and to try not to get bitter against your dad due to whatever errors he may have made. It's awesome that he's working through it and it sounds like your being very mature and wise in the middle of everything..

I'm not sure that our situations are that similar, but you definitely have my sympathy, I'll be praying.

If what I think happened, happened then I can empathize with your mother. If I'm thinking about something totally different, opps. But if that happened to me, I don't know how I would react... Truth is that once trust is broken, it's a very hard thing to get back. Anyways, your parents will surely be in my prayers. I hope things work out.

There was a point where I thought my parents were going to fall apart. They hated each other and they hated God. They fought like crazy, and for years this continued. I was so hard on me and I did not know what to do. But I stayed strong and prayed for them. Well a couple of years ago they stop fighting with each other, forgave each other, and have trying to mend their relationship. Now they are very happily married couple with nothing but a bright future ahead. How did they accomplish this you might ask? They learned to love and respect each other. The book that helped my parents out was Love & Respect: The Love She Most Desires, The Respect He Desperately Needs by Emerson, Dr. Eggerichs. It is a miracle book, and I suggest any married couple read it.

I shall pray for your parents and you.

God Bless
