Top 17 Ways to Freak-out Your Roommate.

Talk about anything in here.

Anime Dad wrote:OK, here's a test: Did you ever -

a) "borrow" your roommate's towels, use them, and then leave them wet on your floor?
b) Cook chips (fries) in a deep fryer, and leave the splattered fat and dirty dishes for a week without cleaning up?
c) When your roommate(s) announced it was time to clean up, go out for the day to play golf?
d) spill a whole glass of Coke on the carpet in your room, and not even attempt to clean it?
etc etc......

If the answer to any of those is no, then you're probably the "good" roommate.... or lucky :)

I think you're reliving your horror days, Anime Dad. *hehe* Anyway, I answered "no" to all of those and "no" to my roommates doing this to me. I guess I am very blessed and fortunate. ^_____^

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Lol that was hilarious! My favorite was Mave's toothbrush one. It's so... random.

My mom always tells me about this one roommate she had that was part of this uuber puritan-like cult who was always condemning her because my mom was taking a sex education class (not by choice; it was the only health science class left that wasn't already filled). xD

My "treatment" for room mates.

Always refer to yourself in the thrid person.

Always keep reaching into your pockets as if you forgot somthing.

Act like you never wash your hands.

Walk out of the bathroom with littly wet hands, then dry them on a kids shirt while saying"dont ya hate it when you get pee on your hands"

The first time I did this trick was at church camp about a year ago. I do snore somtimes and a kid would flick his finger on my throat.(as if it did anything) I got kinda mad and next time he did it, I was ready.

Tell everyone that you snore and if they tap your throat, you stop snoring. Then pretend to snore. When they go to tap your throat, have some fake blood in your mouth before hand, and cough it up if they tap your throat. Its a bit displeasing to have fake blood in your mouth for awhile, but its so worth it. Hold your throat like your choking and snap on them. Make up some crap that they hit you to hard or somthing.

I played it out so well, the kid thought he killed me.

I'll skip college. From the looks of it, I wouldn't want any of you as my roommate...

one of my neighbors used that at least four times a week (mostly in my presence too), good thing my neighbor was a girl. Seki and I would use "not even my father hit me!" from MSG a lot when watching anything in the TV lounge.

Hmm, If I may add one more... If your roomate is getting ready to take a nap during the day wait until he is just about asleep and either:

a. start asking abnoxious annoying question
b. decide to use the phone and talk loudly
c. put on loud music out of nowhere
d. say the most stupid random thing possible to make theur mond start booggling so that they cannot sleep... (I once was doing a. during my roomate's nap and when he said "shut up" I said "Mmmm... shut up cake" It was so random that he started laughing and could not sleep anymore)

(I have done all of these and they work... just make sure your roomie can take a joke... don't do any of this out of cruelty)
The Straight and Narrow

I chose to walk the straight and narrow road, but one day I lost balance and fell off it. I had fallen onto some sharp rocks and injured myself. There were people passing by who would merely stare at me, and then keep walking. Thoughts of worthlessness entered into my mind, and as I chose to believe the lies, my wounds grew worse. I was so overcome with grief that I nearly gave up... but then a man walked up to me and stopped. Without saying a word, he started to wrap my wounds, he gave me some water, and then lifted me up and embraced me. He then whispered these words into my ear, "I love you my child." As he said those words I could feel all the worthlessness and despair fall away. He then held out his hands. They had huge holes in them. He then said, "Walk with me." I then took his hand and we walked together. Every now and then I would fall from the road, but no matter where I fell, he was always there to pick me up and tell me that He loved me.

I can see problems arising by doing these things to roommates. Especially if you have personality confict. Having a roomate is very difficult. I have a friend who lived with first one friend after another, and all the friends she lived with are no longer her friends. She even says she is difficult to live with. I have another friend who also had problems with roommates. I did as well. My first roommateslept when I was awake and was awake when i was asleep. Which didn't lead to anything good. I once woke up to find a guy sleeping on the floor much to my horror. Plus she wanted the blinds open at night and we lived on the Quad side of the building with all the lights shining in. And wanted the window open at night which made it so m asthma bothered me and I couldn't sleep because of the light. I tried to compromise but she refused. my second roommate was the only one I had no problems with. because we respected each other. After that I had Suite mates. Which is easier because you have somewhere to escape to from them. But i had some really bad one too there. Blasting Music in the middle of the night, filling the place with pot smoke, not cleaning up after themselves. Not doing their portion of the chores. Ruining my cute kitty dish towel and non stick pans. Being a roommate is all about give and take. Unless you want to cause a fight and end up being mediated by the houseing department or having to find a new roommate so you can pay your rent, I wouldn't reccomend messing with your roommates.
