Writing Endeavor

Postby holysoldier5000 » Mon Jun 13, 2005 5:35 am

I could use some prayer in my latest endeavor. I am taking off the summer, fall, and winter semesters to work on my writing. I plan on going back to collage in the spring but as for now I am trying to jump into the novel market while there is a huge demand for the type of books I am writing. The audience I am aiming my writing for is teenagers and I am working on two books. One book is a Christian Sci-fi / Fantasy / Mystery story. It is to be a fun and exciting allegory much like the Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. The other book is a guide to being a Christian teenager, a guide that helps teenagers find biblical solutions to modern teenage problems. The thesis of that book is to help teenagers understand that the bible was written for a reason and that it implies to them in their teenage years and all the joys, sorrows, confusion, and troubles those years bring. I have given both my books to the Lord and I know He will help me in this endeavor for He has called me to write these books.

I ask for all of your prayers that this endeavor will be a successfully one, and that I will have the strength and wisdom necessary to finish these books.

God Bless

Well I have pretty much left it completly. But before I left I confronted the false doctrine teaching minister about his problem of teaching false doctrine. Apperently the word of God shook him pretty hard and he has not been able to argue aginst me. I don't know if he will change his ways, but seeing that he was wrong and not being able to support his belife has been a serious blow to the confidance he had in his false doctrine. He still though hasn't gotten back with me since I showed him the truth, so I don't know if he is changed or not.

Impressive! I'll pray that God leads you and that His will shall be done regarding this. I admire anyone aiming to write books as their profession, since that was once a childhood dream of mine. :thumb: Good luck and God bless!
