Final Judgment 4WW

Remove all creatures from the game.

It's simple yet elegant and sickly powerful.

4 Kodama's Reach
4 Sakura Tribe Eldar

4 Sylvan scrying if using Urzatron

Thats all youll ever need. A common run in my G/R deck is

Turn 1 - Forest, Birds of Paradise
Turn 2 - Mountain, Kodama's Reach
Turn 3 - Forest, Kodama of North Tree.

Against most decks, thats game over.
Kodama of North Tree - 6/4 Trampling Untargettable Spirit. Costs 2GGG

I was in a pre-release yesterday! Came 7th out of 18, not the best considering my average, but I'm still happy! It was sooo much fun!

I have quite a few Savior's rares already! Cool thing about the guy who ran the pre-release is that he was happy to sell cards before the official release date. So Ive had 10 odd Boosters already ;)

I have Hidetsugu's Second Rite, would combo well with Hidetsugu himself.

I have 2 Sakashima the Imposters. Get them if you can I'm certain they're going to be expensive as is Pithing Needle. They may not look like much, but trust me, they're going to be like Cranial Extraction and Umezawa's Jitte! Prolly the Pithing Needle moreso.

Sakashima I think is a great card. He doesn't target a creature, so your opponents Kodama of the North Tree has just been cloned, or better yet your OWN Kodama! 2 6/4 tramplers... mmmm

Also combos with Mill-Horse (Cloud'hoof Kirin) thats double the milling powe, mmmm

If there's somewhere near you that does pre-releases it's worth going to. they're a lot of fun.

I doubt I'll use that Hidetsugu's 2nd Rite.

I got a Thoughts of Ruin on Tuesday!

2RR - Each player sacrifices a land for each card in your hand!

Combined with Zozu the Punisher = Yummy land destruction deck.

I don't typically play those kinds of games anymore. Not because I think they're evil, but because I just don't have anyone to play them with and the rules of most of these games are just to confusing to me. Not trying to bash, but the Yu-Gi-Oh rules make no sense to me. I just see too many variables in most cases.
Still, I like to collect some of the cards because they look cool, whether or not I'll actually play with them.
I haven't played Magic, so I don't how it all works out. The most I know I heard from cousin, who use to play it but he said the system of it was badly put together. I don't know from experience if it is as he claims.

Magic's system is very good and very tight. It's good in that it's both varied and consistant.

YuGiOh is a pretty lame game, it's a dumbed down version of Magic.

Red is the best colour for Land Destruction. Black does have some good ones though. B/R is just cruel...

Kavu's are really powerful. 4 damage on entry is just sick. It's a Lightning blast on 2/2 legs!

I built me a Mono-Red Land Destruction.

3 Zozu
2 Thoughts of Ruin (I want up to 4)
4 Stone Rain
2 Molten Rain
4 Glacial Ray
4 Yamabushi Flame
3 Slith Firewalkers
4 Talisman of Dominance
2 Chrome Mox

Its shaping up nicely. Still needs some work though

um, skynes, the kavu is a lighnting bolt on 4/2 legs.

how many of you are timmy's, johnny's, or Spike's.
I'm a Johnny and proud.

(In case you don't know, these are terms to define the three types of magic players. Johnny's like unique card combinations and cards that create a new form of play. Spikes are tournaments players and like only cards that are the most powerful. Timmy's are players who like giant expensive creatures, giant expensive effects, and cool pictures.)

I stink at extended, hence my mixup of the Kavu :P

Im between Johnny and Uber-Johnny, I like making combos n stuff, and if someone says "that card is utter trash" I instantly start thinking of ways to break it. It's the appeal the game has for me, combos and breaking stuff and finding things others don't.

A Kavu deak? Well, its not unheard of. But, I prefer either my cleric deck or my beast deck. Both are slow, but are extreamly powerful. I put in creatures that cut down mana cost in both, making it so very easy to either A) Blow an opponent out of the water withen seven-ten turns (Beast deck) or B) Make it impossible to be killed by damage. (Cleric) I am currently looking for a plantnim angle for my clerics to make it totaly impossible to kill me. (Worship, Rune-Tail, and Plantnum angle = Near involnerability!!) BWAA HA HA HA HA HA HA! BWAAAA HA Ha Ha Ha! Ha Ha ha ha ha...ah......It wasn't that funny, was it?

Try Worship + Pristine Angel.

As long as Pristine Angel is untapped it has protection from Artifacts and ALL Colours. It's a Mirrodin rare.

If you play green, 4 x Kodama's Reach are an absolute necessity! 4 x Sakura Tribe Eldar too!! GO RAMPANT GROWTH ON LEGS!!!!

I have a cleric deck too, it isn't the greatest cause Im mainly a T2 player, but a couple of clerics, Starlit sanctum, Lightning greaves and Daru Spiritualist is a lovely combo. mmmmmm Infinite life....

Use Stone Rain and Molten Rain.

Birds of Paradise, Vine Trellis and Chrome Mox are good accelerators.
Creatures that wreak land are cool, there's a Kamaigawa green creature that puts a land on top of its owners library.

I was reading a article on the magic website about the grates combo, 100% victory combo but the writer said he wouldn't say it and would let everyone find it for themeselves. I think it might have to do with mrsh viper or something.

Which Epic did you get?

I think Epic is a great mechanic, but you need to build a deck around it. Her'e some ways around it.

Aether Vial - Put a creature card with converted mana cost equal to the number of charge counters on this from your hand into play.

Land is free to play. It's not a spell.

Channel - Channel is an ability and is not a spell.

Cycling - Also an ability and not a spell.

Kikki-Jikki! - More creatures, is an ability, not a spell.

A few of the Epics rely on lots of cards in your hand, since you can't play any more spells, you'll have quite a few cards in your hand, thus boosting it's power!

Unfortunately, Isochron Scepter and Panoptic Mirror, both count as playing the spell, so they can't be used :'(

Sakashima the Imposter is a great card, get 4 of them, Im CERTAIN they will be worth something.
