None of my firends were expecting him to be 16, but then again, like me, they just sit around and wait for the game to come out and don`t go on all the fan websites searching for every bit of information they can find and finding a false releasedate. Actually, I do do that for Grandia and FF games but thats it really.
And you must think i`m huge idiot to not know the green suit is his 'trademark'.
i`ve played few Zelda games ( The original, Ocarina of Time (fave), Windwaker, Oracle of Ages, and The Minish Cap), but i`m smart enough to know about the green suit being his trademark.
And I didn`t notice the chainmailvsorry but he still looks like a little kid and nothing like an "Adult".

Okay, Mr. Dincht, you've ofificially begun to make me mad.
First, the adult Link everyone wanted to see was around 16 in the first place, and the green attire is his trademark. (Look closely. He wears chainmail under it in this game!)
Second, you have no evidence it won't be rated Teen. So far, it looks pretty dark, and could very well be rated Teen.
Finally, Zelda was never meant to be a war/dungeon crawler. It was meant to be an epic adventure game with clever dungeons and lots of battles.
Good day to you, sir.

and the fact that you said "Teen Rated" intrigues me... is the fact that its rated T make you go "zomg its teen its for little babies so ima not play it!!!" or something?

As I stated before, if there were another Zelda game between OoT and WW, why is the Hero of Time referred to so much in WW? Maybe this Link is saving a land OTHER than Hyrule, I dunno.
This is but one of the legends of which the people speak... Long ago, there existed a kingdom where a golden power lay hidden. It was a prosperous land blessed with green forests, tall mountains, and peace. But one day, a man of great evil found the golden power and took it for himself. With its strength at his command, he spread darkness across the kingdom. But then, when all hope had died, and the hour of doom seemed at hand... a young boy clothed in green appeared as if from nowhere. Wielding the blade of evil's bane, he sealed the dark one away and gave the land light. This
boy, who traveled through time to save the land, was known as the Hero of Time. The boy's tale was passed down through generations until it became legend... But then... a day came when a fell wind began to blow across the kingdom. The great evil that all thought had been forever sealed by the hero... once again crept forth from the depths of the earth eager to resume its dark designs. The people believed that the Hero of Time would again come to save them... But the hero did not appear. Faced by an onslaught of evil, the people could do nothing but appeal to the gods. In their last hours, as doom drew nigh, they left their future in the hands of fate. What became of that kingdom? None remained who knew. The memory of the kingdom vanished, but its legend survived on the wind?s breath. On a certain island, it became customary to garb boys in green when they came of age. Clothed in the green of fields, they aspired to find heroic blades and cast down evil. The elders wished only for the youths to know courage like the hero of legend...

I never said I won`t like this game. I said i was disapointed and expected better.
Also have you noticed almost every game is T now? I mean, ratchet and clank is T and i can think of numerous E-rated RPGs that are more inapropriate than that.

Tom Dincht wrote:I just said all my friends as well as me assumed that it was going to have a Lord Of The Rings twist because additional battles with lke horses and defending a castle while you fight multible oponents and other backup soldiers helping you would`ve ruled.
And all the pictures we (meaning me and my Zelda-loving friend) saw of Link made him looked way older. And if "Adult" is 16 then I guess I have a year and a half until my childhood ends....wow.
I personally believe this game will rock, but I expected better.
Okkkk... yea. I def need to step in here. There are DIFFERENT LINKs.
I'm gonna cry. I repented from video games and said I'd never take the time to play another RPG again. But I love Legend of Zelda games, and I epspecially like emo heroic werewolves!
There's a statue of him in the Temple of Time in Wind Waker. You also learn that Hyrule isn't completely destroyed, but perserved by a spell that makes a shield over it, keeping it from getting flooded.
Myoti wrote:Volt,
Please realize that most people on this thread appear to like how it is going. You're judging way to quickly on this, when the wolf idea could turn out to be quite incredible. If you don't like it, then just say "I don't like," but please stop trying to act like you know everything and tell us it's going to ruin the franchise. THey said the same thing about "WindWaker," and it did incredibly well.
So, you want an explanation for the wolf concept? Basically, it's like turning into a rabbit when you enetered the dark world in "A Link to the Past." There are two worlds, the light and the dark, and entering the dark makes you become a wolf.
Now, if you have anymore "nice" comments or opinions to add, please do, but just stop with the flaming. So please, wait till you actually play the game to give comments like that.
Yay! Myoti you are RIiiight on with your analogy to LttP. buttt... i think you could have been a little nicer on Volt... but. You are essentially right.. >.>

Where did u guys find the title to this game? cuz i heard there really isnt going to be one. qnother cool thing is that u can actually attack while on epona and also steal other creatures' rides.
and apparently as i've been reading, hyrule is far far away from the land you are in, this area actually sends cows to hyrule.
one disappointment is that tingle will be taken out and replaced w/ someone else, so much for a 30 yr old fairy......
