This guy wants to ban anime because it's an evil, perverse thing.

Talk about anything in here.

I can no longer sit back and allow communist infiltration, communist indoctrination, communist subversion, and the international communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

Seriously though who cares about this guy. Finding nutjobs on the internet isn't hard, and however crazy they are, they're still just idiots with a webpage. Until and unless this is a person that other people actually listen too, why should we worry about him?
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge

Rurouni_Kaoru, while I agree with what you said, I'm going to ask you to look at the last date posted on before you came: 3-23-2005.

I have noticed like 4 or 5 threads this past week with the same situation. This is called gravedigging--when you pull up a thread several weeks/months old, and post on it. Now, usually the one exception we make is when you have something valid to add to the argument (i.e. a direction someone has not gone in) or if it's on an anime/manga/video game series instead of making a billion and one Naruto threads.

My point is, in the future please take some time when you find a very old thread you wish to post on; consider what you want to say, and is it worth bringing up again.

Now, without further ado this thread has been brought to life and I'm putting it back to sleep.
