I don't know, morbidly obese cosplayers always seem to show up at any convention. Granted though, morbidly obese cross-dressing cosplayers seem to (at least for now) restriced to Japan.
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge

Until anyone is able to top the abomination of this earth called Man-Faye, this is not very disturbing to me.

It's like a train wreck. I knew everyone thought it was horrible...but still I clicked the link. Now, if you don't mind me...I am going to put my truck in neutral on a hill, and lay under the tires.

well if you reaaallly want to know its a large man cosplaying as faye from cowboy beebop. and yes the clothes are as small and skimpy as they are in the show. its oh so frightening. it makes this look like puppies and kitties (sailor bubba is about as bad but not quite as bad as man-faye)

AAAAAAH! Scary!
I'm in love with this song!!
Lion
Mysterious, that's what I call you.
I'm curious about you.
I'm scared and I'm not sure that you are safe.
But, something in your eyes says you are good.
This is not a dream that I'm living,
this is just a world of your own.
You took me from all that I knew,
showed me how it feels to hope.
With you with me, facing tomorrow together,
I could learn to fly.
It feels like I'm living in the lion's mouth,
but the lion is an angel.
Wise eyes, you see the core of me.
Your gentleness melts me.
Now I know that words cannot describe
the power that I feel when I'm with you.
This is not a dream that I'm living,
this is just a world of your own.
You took me from all that I knew,
showed me how it feels to hope.
With you with me, facing tomorrow together,
I could learn to fly.
It feels like I'm living in the lion's mouth,
but the lion is...
peace and power
love forever.
Who am I to stand before you?
I am speechless,
but in my weakness you are here and all is well.

Shadowchild is my imoto-chan!! ^_^

*in tears over man-faye* I think I'm going to go scratch my eyes out now. Better yet, hand me some o' that acid.

Edit: But I just say, I think I might be able to top the sumos.

Take that horror.

Now imagine yourself standing next to it.

Yes, that was what the first day of AX 2004 was like for me.

EDIT: Kanerou, being an ex-raving Quatre fangirl, you have managed to frighten me more than my wildest nightmares and horrors have ever been able to do. :lol: Congratulations, I didn't think anyone would manage it. XD;
