:waah!: my parents are fighting again... instead of dad getting rid of his liqour, he bought a small fridge, put it up the garage, and put it all out there! he doesn't buy whiskey, only beer. but when his friends come over, they bring the hard stuff, which doesn't help. he's spending more time outside than with mom, which is really making her mad (aside from drinking)... at minimum, i don't want them to split. i never could see my mom doing that, but the way she was acting today made me think it is possible. :?: :sniffle:

I am definitly praying for you! Feel free to get ahold of me through my profile page if you need someone to talk to. I know this must all be difficult on you.
This may have already been addressed but, are your parents Christian, more specifically your father?
God bless!

thanx ya'll for keeping me in mind. i sort of needed to rush that last post. maybe i should explain a little. dad's drinking again, which is the first thing. and mom none too happy about that. last night he went to work and stayed the night there. when he came back this morning to take my brother and i to school, mom wouldn't let him. i don't think i've ever been more afraid of them arguring before. she never curses in front of my brother and me, but last night it was all just on continuous strand from her and mom. instead of praying for my safety, please pray for them to stop fighting, or better yet for dad to stop drinking.

thanx. i'll keep ya posted.

"Come to me all you who are weary and heavy-laden, for I shall give you rest." - Matthew 11:28 not bad advice for me to follow right now, huh?

1) okay. mom and i went to this Alateen/ Alanon thing yesterday. its like a group therapy for alcoholics and their families. it might help, but i don't see how it will right now. dad refuses to go. they haven't fought all weekend, so i'll take that as a good sign. then again, they haven't talked or even acknowledged each other... i'm praying it stays that way and gets better. hopefully dad will also stop smoking, eventually.

2) i'm taking my writen DMV test a week from tomorrow. i'm studying for it, so hopefully i can get my permit soon. pray that i don't mess up any car or person.

3) i got an aplication for Starbucks today 'cause i wanna get a part time summer job there. its like, a 10-15 min walk from my house. pray that if i get the job i won't slack off or be a lazy bum like i am at home. if i don't get the job, God will open a door one day.

I'm so mad at my mom right now. I feel like I can't do anything right, and she made a comment that basically said, "You're just an ignorant child who doesn't know anything. Grow up!" This was just after she was fighting with my dad over the phone. She was picking me up from work, and work was terrible today too. I'm so lost right now; literally. TTT-TTT

Lifting you up.
Theme Scripture: Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)

And a verse for all us single folks: Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas? (1 Corinthians 9:5)

Thanx. I really appreciate it.

Things went better today. I'm no longer mad at my boss (which was yesterday's problem), and mom apologized for what she had said. She said it was out of anger, and she didn't really mean it. But now my dad won't even reply to my messages...
