hea! no worries, mon. its ayre. ^_^
okay, so get this. at school, we're having an international day, and everyone needs to dress up like someone from another country. seeing as how i don't have the money to even go grocery shopping, i pulled some clothes out of my closet, mixed 'em up, printed out some pictures, and presto! i'm now a Koala-Lander. ^_^ i would've been a Kiwi-Lander, but last time i was talking to one of my teachers, they were like, "What/ where is New Zealand?" that was totally pathetic.... anyways, there's gonna be a competition tomorrow, and i wanna give it a try in winning. ^_______^
Rofl!
Yeah, it sometimes annoys me how it seems like no one knows about NZ, or thinks it's somewhere in australia (

)... and one of your TEACHERS didn't know where it was? Rofl! Oh well. LOTR helped the geographic knowledge of NZ a little bit. And I guess I can always explain if no one knows where it is. Besides I can hardly complain: despite having a Dad in the travel industry, my geography skills are terrible. If you asked me to name the 5(1?) states of America, I'd probably include a city like New York

Hmm... that's a good idea... how many do I know?
Rhode Island...
Michigan
Canada (no, I'm just joking!)
Idaho
California
And I know more than that by name, but I can't remember them off the top of my head. And, as said, I'd probably think some of the cities were states.
Oh yeah! Hawaii's one too. I've actually been there.
I did okay in Maths. Good in other subjects. But when it came to Geography I think I remember barely passing it... (and all we had to do was place main NZ cities on a map) which is why I dropped it as soon as possible.
I guess that means some people just don't know much about the world. But a teacher? That does surprise me.
