Pray for a couple in church

Postby K. Ayato » Mon May 09, 2005 1:22 pm

Hello again. I wanted to stick this up sooner, but waited until now. I'd like you to please pray for a couple in my church. They're going through some tough times right now. I'm good friends with them, and I was excited to hear that the wife was 3 months pregnant. I heard the news through a passing conversation with her husband's grandma. Sadly, early last week my pastor (the husband's grandfather) announced that the couple had lost the baby, and with yesterday being Mother's Day, I could only imagine how hard it was for her and understood why she chose not to attend the services. Both she and her husband are Believers, and I heard through the pastor that this tragedy was bringing them closer together in their marriage. Still, I would appreciate it if you'd pray for them. Thanks a million.

My sister went through the same ordeal. I'll pray for both of them.

Update. I saw them both in church last night. The husband doesn't mind that I brought their situation here in the Prayer Room. I didn't get to talk to the wife, but she's doing ok, but still in pain over what happened to the baby. Keep praying.
