J-Punk? I remember them from the 80's when they were merely J-Pop and annoying at that

I mean the lyrics alone could cause a brain hemmorhage!

They're punk. Okay....POP punk ;) But they have some of that Ramones sound to them.

I like 'em myself. And, I know, the lyrics are really bad.

The Ramones? I suppose in that three chord kind of way... :P

Yeah, some of the stuff can sound OK, even if they sound tone deaf. I mean I like Puffy AmiYumi for example...

I actually don't know any Puffy AmiYumi....except, I think I heard someone said they did the opening song for Teen Titans, which I have seen a couple of times.

J-Pop in general is something I have little experience with, though I have been digging some Do As Infinity of late.

Well I like Shonen Knife quite a bit. Very catchy stuff, and I actually like the lyrics, mainly because they're so bad.

Puffy Amiyumi's better though, I think (their best stuff doesn't sound much liek "Teen Titans" though)

Yeah. I've heard samples of their older stuff, and some of the Japanese stuff sounds very good...
