Hmm... I can't tell whether the thread starter is a troll or just a bit over-zealous, so I'll postpone my response.

Hmm? We're sorry for making you leave, but a lot of us can keep God in our hearts and minds to distinguish right from wrong when we enjoy video games and anime. If you don't want to play RPGs, then don't, but you don't have to go aggro on us and try to make us quit.

While I'm sorry to see you go, I think you need to realize that not everyone has the same levels of conviction that you do. I realize you're 14 and don't know everything in the world, so I'm trying to be nice about this. It's one thing to be concerned about someone's spiritual health, but it's another to try to force your views down on someone else and condemn them for enjoying something you personally can't. Anyway, as I said I'm sorry to see you leave but I am not sorry that the members of CAA stood up for themselves and their PERSONAL convictions.

Do you think Satan wants to look bad, do people want to do stuff that looks bad wouldnt people would avoid it or would he use perverse pictures that are pleaseing?

I know you're leaving but I just wanted to repond back since I never got to cause I thought this thread was resolved.

Of course, Satan is decieving. He makes sin look fun and good. However, I do not think RPG's are generally bad. Some may have some questionable material and in which Satan can exploit. Satan can exploit anything, even if it's good, for his purpose. I'm gonna use an example of a guy and girl praying alone together. I strongly oppose this unless they 1) strong in thier faith or 2) married. Praying is defiently good but Satan can use that time alone to his advantage by using sexual sin. Since the two are alone, and knowing this. temptation can invade and the hormones and you get what I mean. That's why I don't think D and D is neccasrily bad but Satan can use elements in the game to be bad which attracts those who are intrested in it.

As well, I see Tales of Symphonia far from being sacriligous and blasphemus. If you took time to play further into the game, you'd realize the true story which actually says to love one another, even your enemies, stay true to your friends, and good triumphs over evil. You said people who watch movies that have magic, play games with magic, watch magic will be attracted with magic. That's half true. Unless you have a firm stance in Christ and believe in Him and with His help, you can overcome such attraction. I play RPG's I do pencil and paper roleplaying games, I watch some anime with magic, I love LOTR but because I have a (somewhat...thier's defiently room for improvement) strong relationship with Christ, I do not get attracted by magic or false religions. Sexual sins is defiently a problem with me though as well as backsliding in my faith.

Oh and I have read Revelations many times over on my own and bible studies as well as False Religions on my own and in Bible Studies. Some of the stuff I have learn concerning the Occult, Paganism, and such is waaaaaaay more sacriligous and blasphemous that ToS could ever dream to get.
