lol, yeah, that is my favorite Terminator film largely because it was cleaner in terms of language and voilence and stuff. It wasn't so over-the-top.

Riddick has become one of my personal favs! yeesh, I can't believe not that many people liked those movies. I never listen to the critics anymore.

Not many people I know like Soldier or X-Men.

My friends LOVE Kung Pow to death.... *whee-oo-whee-oo-whee-oo*....I heard that ALL the time for a while lol, and lots of other lines from that movie too. I thought it was ok, but I fell asleep while watching it so I didn't get to see it all.... it was a sleepover party and late at night.

Okay, I liked UHF too (especially the part where they made fun of Rambo). I also liked:
Last Action Hero (Ahnold is so funny in this movie. And I loved it when they showed him turning Hamlet into another shoot-em-up. "To be or not to be. Not to be." (castle blows up) or how about when the dude says "Stay thy hand, fair prince" and he goes "who said I was fair?" and shoots the guy with an AK-47?
Rocky Horror Picture Show (got a lot of self-styled moralists where I live, so this movie's panned like no tomorrow. If you go in with a grain of salt, this one's funny)
Dr. Strangelove ("There's no fighting in the war room!" Man, I was laughing like crazy when I heard that line!)
Dr. Zhivago (The only love story I ever enjoyed. The others made me yawn)
Spaceballs ("I see your schwartz is as big as mine!")
Big Trouble in Little China (especially the part where Kurt Russell shoots the ceiling and it crumbles on top of him)"When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, looks you crooked in the eye and asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: 'Have ya paid your dues, Jack?' 'Yessir, the check is in the mail.'"--best line in the movie.
The Sandlot (the original, have yet to see the sequel)
The Good Son (Hey I loved Caulklin in this movie. Why couldn't he do more characters like this all the time?)
The Butterfly Effect (Who knew Ashton Kucher could act?)
Pump Up the Volume (underrated Christian Slater doing what he does best--pulling off a B-grade Jack Nicholson role and doing it great)
And I like Willow too.

wow people liked kung pow, I was beginning to think I was the only person on the earth who really liked it!

Lady Jane,a movie that was made a few years back that had Patrick Stewart in it and was about the ill fated Lady Jane Grey.Good movie though I wonder how many
people have actually seen it.I saw it once at college.
As far as The Princess Bride goes,good movie better book.

The Princess Bride
(who doesn't like it? I've never heard of anyone bad talking this movie)

The Usual Suspects
(well, I'm sure there are tons of people that don't really like this one, but I definitely would not say no one likes it. )

(now this is not a well known film, but every person I've shown it to has ended up loving it, and anyone I talk to who has seen it, raves about it.
I am yet to hear one bad remark [besides someone saying too much harsh language])

I for one likes...

Van Helsing. I didn't care WHAT came out of this movie. I saw it as monsterfestsummerblockbuster flick, not expecting anything deep, and you know what? I was perfectly happy. Also had lots of cool set pieces and costumes and stuff. Frankenstein was okay but a bit of a wuss...but Dracula more than made up for that. The masquerade was awesome, and the whole Van Helsing/Gabriel/werewolf thing had me and my friends debating, which was fun. Oh, and I *know* VH's name isn't Gabriel. It's Abraham. But whatever.

1492: Conquest of Paradise. It seems I am becoming a Ridley Scott fan. His historic films are gorgeous. While Gerard Depardieu is horribly miscast (terrific actor though), what really made the film was the music, the sets/costumes, and Michael Wincott as the sinister Adrian de Moxica, despite the fact that he only shows up in half the movie. And the fact that that's all we did in history class, was watch this movie. Yeah.

For some reason I think when Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children comes out it won`t be popular....at all. I`m dying to see it and all but I don`t think it will score that high.
Spirits Within was okay, but everyone hated it.

Hey - I consider the old Jackie Chan Hong Kong stuff far better that the Hollywood stuff like Rush Hour and ESPECIALLY the Tuxedo. Beats the pants of all his Hollywood outings.

my revised list:

Elektra (no one gives it due credit, it's musical score and visual effects were so beautifully done they were almost frightening, the costume, story, and acting was pretty good, and yet everyone bashes it and hates, and it didn't do at all well in the box office)
Catwoman (I swear I am the only entity on earth that didn't hate this movie, it was alright, not awe-inspiring, but pretty good, surprisingly enough. But it got a razzy award (I think), nuff said)
The Punisher (2004) (A pretty good movie, great in budget, though I have a couple issues with it content and moral-wise speaking, I still think it deserved far more credit than it recieved.)
Fantastic Four (Definately the underrated movie of the year, this was a great film yet people whine and insult it for this, that, and the other thing, I don't get it.)
Batman Forever (I have good memories with this movie, and it wasn't too bad in its own right, it inspires teamwork and it introduced some of my favorite characters to the movie world.)
Batman & Robin (I can't say even I like this movie much, but I think it was...ok... it gets less than it deserves, despite not deserving much, I guess part of why I like this one is because it is another sentimental one.)
The Shadow (I think in it's own right, it was worth a 3 star rating (of 5), but I might give it a 4, especially for it's time, it was rather well done, and it wasn't nearly as lacking in any/every aspect as the Darkman movies or something. I know it is kinda stupid at times, but I enjoyed it a fair deal despite that (though I wish they would release a widescreen DVD (I have had NO luck finding one, so I doubt one is made).)

and movies like Batman: Sub-Zero, The Rocketeer, and The Hulk are rather underrated sometimes too, but not as severely.

oop, another one I forgot is LXG: The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, I had some problems with it, and it was a bit lame in parts, I will admit, but I actually liked it a fair deal.

QOTD just looked to filled with demonic content for me to care, and I am not big on horror movies anyway, I liked Psycho and all, but other than that it isn't really my thing...

Another film I have to add would be Gothika. The acting was good, the creepiness just right and the plot twists unexpected. A lot of people were like "First it's a horror movie then it's a ghost movie now it's a murder mystery WHAT IS IT" and accused it of being schizophrenic or just plain mad. I think it worked out great. (Or I'm schizophrenic.)

I've never seen it, I don't know enough about the content levels to know if it would fly with me or not, plus I am lazy as can be when it comes to seeing movies/shows not related to Superheroes or Anime (my two big crazes). My neftlix queue slot is too valuable to spare unless I hear of an incredible film that is a must-see.
