I'm happy with my height, not many Asians are as tall as me...

I am roughly 5' 4". I'd really rather not grow above six feet, personally, for reasons that shall remain undisclosed.

EDIT: Oh my gosh, I'm taller than Shooraijin!
EDIT #2: Oh, wait...no I'm not. I misread his post.
Think happy thoughts.

RoyalWing wrote:I'm surprised, that people are very tall here. I thought I was tall, because most at my school are short, and I grew early. So, I was the tallest all the time, and now I'm finished and everyone is starting to grow.

I think I was mostly short for most of my life. Now that I have graduated to an average height: so I'm pretty happy :) .

I think you're right, RoyalWing - a lot of people on CAA are really tall. If we were all sitting in one room for a conference or something I'd have to sit at the front because otherwise all I'd see would be a couple of rows of the backs of peoples heads. If we were all standing I'd have to stand on a chair and shout out conversations with the other people under six feet here. :P

Well, I _am_ an Asian... so yeah.

I still have to dodge tree branches. Especially if I miss and it happened to have rained that morning, my face gets all wet and stuff, and it's so annoying.

I'm officially 6 feet tall. Last time at the doc.'s they told me 5 11 and 3/4. Ouch. But this time I had grown the extra 1/4 of an inch.

I'm 6'0"

There are a lot of tall people here...

I find that I am taller than many people that I meet; then again, I have good posture, which is an important part of "looking tall."

Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Pro-Life Youth Pledge

We are a loud and determined voice for Truth and Life in this culture of death. We stand on the truth of Jesus Christ whom all of our strength comes from. We stand for the protection of all human life from conception (fertilization) until natural death, with no exceptions, no compromise, and no apologies. We are fed up with the lies that MTV, Planned Parenthood and our government are pushing down our throats. We will no longer sit silently by as our generation is being systematically slaughtered through surgical and chemical abortion.
