How much time do you spend in forums?

Talk about anything in here.

On weekends I can spend a little bit more time, but it depends on the topics that are already in discussion.endwraithsenicode3

I live at CAA. If you go the North Wing (Goof Off), my tent is the one right next to the salad bar (Bishies thread).

u.u Okay, about... 5 or 6 hours, probably.

CAA is the only forum site on which I am actually an active member, and I usually try to limit my time here to not much more than an hour or so per day.

Too much.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

That's usually what I try to do. Though if I am really busy and there is a thread that I am watching, I wouldn't visit the forum but rather be reminded via e-mail (thanks to the good old "subscribe" function). :)

I belonged to a forum called Perfectly Dark, which died and dispersed and regrouped into GameCubeXL, which was killed and dispersed and regrouped into NintendoNet, which died and never reformed. I was part of those 3 forums from the time I was 12 untill 17. I must have posted at least 10000 posts across all 3, so quite a lot of time.

Typically I am logged into one forum or another while I am at work, though I am not always brousing. Also, though I may be on a significant amount of time, I dont just post in every thread I can find... I guess that would make me somwhat of a lurker.

Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

That's a good slogan for our new advertising campaign (hitting NBC this fall):

We try to make CAA a time suction hole where people can waste their time online without having to worry about their soul...

I cringe when I think that all the hours of my life wasted on message boards could have been spent doing something worthwhile with my life.... like solving world hunger, helping a cat out of a tree, finding out whether or not the chicken REALLY did come first.....

hmmm... for it depends on my interest. I prefer hanging out with people in RL... but on a good day maybe 1.5 hours... on a slow day none. On average about 20 minutes a day.

Too bad it can't be like on .hack//sign or .hack//legend where you log in and can
be in character in cyberspace. It make forums a bit more interesting. On the other hand one shouldn't waste a nice day like today too much on the inside.I think after I'm done here and do my exercising I'll go out and sit on the deck for a bit.
