Postby The Last Bard » Wed Apr 06, 2005 9:00 pm

Yes, I'm looking for some recomendations on N64 horror games.
I'm going to get Resident Evil 2 sometime, but do you have any other
recomendations?
;) I'm just in the mood for somethin' jumpy you know?

Thanks,

That's a hard question.... Resident Evil 2 is the best, if not, the only good survival horror game you'll find on the N64.

*thinks*

The only other one I can think of that comes closest to Horror is Shadow Man, which is a very dark and disturbing game from what I've been told. Wasn't Shadow Man a comic book character? (I'm pretty comic book retarded, nowadays) Anyways, I haven't played this game, so I can't give you much details on it.

*thinks harder*

Hmm... I seriously can't think of any another other survival horror games for the N64. I'll search around on Gamespot and Google later to today, but I don't think there are any more.

Here are some games I enjoyed for the N64 that have "Survival" or "Horror" elements...

Castlevania 64 - Pretty good game, not as good as the 2-d ones, but still a solid title.
Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness - Improves on Castlevania 64 and pretty for people who liked C64.
Turok: Dinosaur Hunter - Solid and fun game.

I haven't play Turok 2 or 3, but I hear Turok 2 was awesome and Turok 3 was dull.

My God.... you need a PS2 man. Or Gamcube. Preferably both. You will be able to enjoy the entire Resident Evil series, along with it's cousin Dino Crisis, and Silent Hill.

The clostest thing you can get to horror on N64 is Luigi`s Mansion. O wait, thats GC. With the lame graphics i couldn`t tell.

Yes Shadowman was originally a comic series.

And yeah about the ONLY Horror game on N64 period is Resident Evil 2.

Yeah, Turok 2 is awesome! Huh, I've almost bought Castlevania a few times.
Actually I have a Xbox and would love to check out Silent Hill and Fatal Frame 2, but parents, you know? ;)
So I'm just going with the N64 for now. :)

Thanks,
Aaron

Who said I wanted a horror game rated Teen? That would be hilarious though!
No, I'm just saying that I can probably get by with games like that for the N64, but not the Xbox.
And no, Fatal Frame is a definite M. (Or at least Fatal Frame 2: Directors Cut is)
