a friend of mine and a friend of so many at my school desparately needs a heart and kidney transplant ASAP. thing aren't lookin' to good for johnny at the moment...he's in ICU. he's a great kid and a best friend of so many. he's been through so much but has always kept a possitive look on things. he's such a strong believer.
dear Lord,
i thank you for all you have done and given me. i thank you for showing me the way back to you. i thank you for all the trials i have been through...i really think it has made me stronger...i pray you give me more strength. i thank you for letting me have johnny as a friend and a brother in your son, Jesus Christ. i thank you that you sent your one and only son to die for not just my sins but for dying for everyone's sin. i thank you for CAA and for giving Ashley the idea for this place of grace. i'm so thankful that word of this place is getting out to so many. i'm thankful that it's made a difference not just in mine but in so many lives on this earth. Lord i know you can and i pray you, if it's your will, that you heal johnny of this sickness, or if it's your will that you send a heart and a kidney his way. he needs it desparately Lord. and Lord if johnny doesn't make it then i pray you take him. i pray for his soul. i pray that you keep you hand upon him. in all this i pray in your son, Jesus Christ's name.
Amen.

"The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case." - Chuck Close[/color]
