Making petitions known...

[Nu-En-Jin]

Normally, I'm not too comfortable sharing my struggles with strangers, especially in the context of the internet's anonymity...
But still, I've been coming here for a while now, so I trust the hearts of those in administrative capacity at the very least, and so I ask, as the Lord places these on your heart, if you would join me in laying these prayers at our Father's feet.

1. My sister just got blessed with a job as the assistant to the director of a feature film being shot a few hundred miles from her home. She was just about to give up on the whole PA life, and had been frustrated with it all, when BANG, the Lord lands this new job for her... Now, she's got the flu really bad, and knowing my sister, and how fragile her immune system seems to be, she'll be fighting this sickness for weeks. She has to work, regardless of how she feels... production is in full swing, and she's scared to death that she's gonna lose this job.

2. One of my brothers in Christ has been planning on getting married to a wonderful young lady. Her parents hate his guts, though, and since she refused to cut him off, they cut her off, and kicked her out of their house. She's taken care of, and has moved in with a nice family from his church, but their relationship is strained as a result of a few things. First, as involved as he is in the church, he feels his walk with God stagnating... She, on the other hand, seems to have aspirations for much more, and is growing closer to the Lord. He perceives that perhaps he's getting in the way of what the Lord might have for her to do, and he doesn't want that. He honestly loves her more than breathing (or as I've told them both- "You two are retarded for each other!"), and she is scared of losing him if God were to call her to a different life, apart from him. The whole parental tension adds to it, or perhaps is a consequence.

So, IF the Lord leads you, could you join me in prayer for my sister's health, and my friends' wisdom, and leaning upon the Lord for strength and guidance.

Not sure... it's being filmed in Rock Hill, SC... so it may not be a wide release kind of production, but... she hasn't had the time, or throat health to actually talk about it... thanks for the prayers, guys.
