Her parents are sending her to a foster home temporarily. She will still be able to come to church and school, but she is really scared. Please continue to pray.

I think that she is doing better. She is going to prom, and is excited. Looking forward to that really seems to have lifted her spirits. Please continue to pray, though.

Definitely shall pray for her. i hope things get better for her soon! Prom should help her though. Abuse makes me so so sad...it's scarey to think there are people like that in the world.

Interesting indeed. At church we recently had a sermon about that passge. Why did you choose that passage in particular?

well a thought came to me: "What could she have done to deserve that?", then another one chased it away: "Maybe nothing, remember about the blind guy that jesus healed (John 9)"

As far as I know, things are ok. She hasn't been very talkative lately.

It turns out that she didn't go to prom afterall because she couldn't get enough money. A bunch of my friends went to anti-prom, but we all thought that she was going to prom, so she wasn't invited to anti-prom. In the end she just sat at home by herself all night. She wasn't happy, and we feel bad now.
