Transparent Freckles

Small Jewels on the Window
Racing down the glass panels
Some are marathon runners,
Others are elderly men with canes.
I want to feel those liquid beads,
So I put my hand on the sandy ice
But they continued to slip by

Why is this?
Why can I not touch the cool drops?
What kind of sin did I commit for this to occur?
Then it dawned upon me...
I was on the opposide of them.
