Suicide attempt...

Postby Slater » Thu Mar 17, 2005 3:46 pm

... *sigh*
Going to a Christian Public School, it's the thing you'd least expect to happen. About 2 hours ago, a girl in the school tried to commit suicide. She went into the bathroom and overdosed on Prozac. A pair of her very best friends found her nearly dead on the floor some time later, and she was rushed off to the hospital. According to the latest report, they think the doctors have stabilized her, but still... stabilized doesn't always mean good.

Please pray for the girl who tried to commit suicide, her family, and the two girls who found her (They were traumatized and trembling when I left school).

Things like that happen everywhere... it's sad to see others try to take their own life rather then dealing w/ their problems or life difficulties. I'll will pray that the girl who O.D.ed on Provak will realize that life does have it's good sides and that life is worth living. Also, I will pray for all the people that may be hurting due to her decisions.

I pray this girl finds the courage she needs to continue to live.

I'll keem them all in my prayers.

=/ not good. Being familiar with the 'life isn't worth it' mindset, it's very sad to see someone who succumbs to it and attempts something. Shall pray.

Actually, I don't find that very surprising. Had I not had the parents I did...well, anyway, I'll pray for them all. Hopefully the girl is saved. I shall pray for that as well.

This reminds me of the time when someone came to me and told me that two of my best friends were planning suicide, and I thank God that we were able to avert it.

It's so sad that she came to that decision. Did she have a history of depression? I also especially pray for her friends and family, because I know first-hand what they might be feeling right now.
I am unique, just like everyone else.
