Anyone else stoked about this game. The idea of getting to be Clonies rocks. This game is Rainbow Six on steroids. It runs on the unreal engine and is sopposed to be a tactical squad based shooter like Rainbow Six. This ones gonna be good. Did I mention you get to be Clone/Storm troopers...

you can download the demo, it is pretty cool, the graphics are great, though it seems that the mission design is simplistic

Unreal. Good ol' Unreal. The wonders of treading lightly through the forest, taking time to enjoy the scenery...

Ahh, the memories...

Take it like you gave it; what else matters in the end? To be honest, it's all a one-shot test; that leaves plenty of places to go wrong, but how will you ever know? There's a pointer, I will admit. Turn it on, listen to it, feel it burn.

He means the Unreal engine.:P

And Republic Commando seems like an alright game. I played the demo and it was a nice mix between a Star Wars FPS and Rainbow Six lite. It was pretty tense, had pretty good graphics, and had nice commentary from the team. It was kinda annoying though to have reclick the spot where you placed a teammate to get them outta there. And it seemed to take one too many shots to kill the enemys.

I would buy it...if I had an Xbox. I hate it when good Star Wars games are platform specific.

A lot of games that are on Xbox are also on PC. Like KOTOR.

It is on PC also. Pretty heavy system requirements though. I kinda like the idea of tough enemies. Makes things interesting.

Edit: Halo has a rival!! This game is awsome!! total off the hock!! Rockin  I loves it!!

I borrowed it from a friend and spent like 5-8 hours on it! its SUPER fun! i'm almost done withe the assault on the ship mission. its pretty easy, except for the SBDs. they are super annoying, it takes like 2 or more 'nades to take em out.

It looks like a really fun game.... however it will be very short.
Why you say?
Because Lucas Arts being the brilliant gaming company that it is *sarcasm* puts a 12 month deadline on all their games. So the developers only have 12 months to make the game. The only reason Knights of the Old Republic wasn't that way was because BioWare who made the game wouldnt let Lucas Arts boss them around. An awesome game that couldve been much longer.
George Lucas... I despise you.
