That's a shame. I was about to comment on the fact that the spamming thing seemed to have subsided.

*off topic* there is more trigun avatars and sigs on this thread than anything ive ever seen *laughs*

*on topic* it has subsided, a little bit... remember how we banned like five people in two days not to long ago?

this is definetly slowed down... maybe they got the point.

*off topic* LOL!!!!! Let me add mine to the list once more, then. (Hey everyone else, let's try for the world record over in Goof Off! If you curently use, or if you have ever had an avatar and sig from Trigun, post it as an attachment in my new thread there. . .)

*On topic,* we need to be prepared for a serious troll invasion. There have been literally almost a hundreds signups with no profile information, some with highly suspicious names ("bakadesuka," for example), and they all may be waiting for a time when our guard seems to be down. I think we need to keep vigilant about trolls.

I dunno...I'll keep an eye out. But I'm not sure about bakadesuka. It is kind of a suspicious name. We know what "baka" means, but "desu" is like "to be", and "ka" is the particle that indicates a question. So...yeah. Oh well. Nothing wrong with keeping a sharp eye out :]

I'd rather you guys just PM the admins with your supsicions. Consider how rude it would be to jump up and start screaming "Andy's a troll!" or the like. Personally, I dislike members holding each other under suspect; it reeks of secret service type work and lack of trust--at a Christian community, that needs to be one of the first bases accomplished. Anyway, the point: if you HAVE to tell someone, do it in a PM to an admin/mod.

How did I get used for an example?

edit:You don't have to answer that. I found out that I don't really care for a reason.

I think it's a joke, there were 542 total members. (543 now) Quite funny if it is.

A joke? It looked more like sarcasm to me.

Based entirely on current number of members. While it has a sarcastic edge to it, I'm not really going after anything, so I'd call it a joke.

This has got to be the longest announcement thread that I've ever seen. Are we trying for a record or something?
