As many of you all know, my Grandad has had mesothelioma (asbestos related cancer) for awhile now. I found out he passed away this morning. He was a strong Christian and a wonderful man of God and integrity and I am glad to know where he is. Please pray for our family as we have to make the final arrangements and everything. Thank all of you who have been praying for him and our family during this time.

--It was so weird cause last night I prayed that if he was suffering that he would go home to be with God and then I felt somethinng had happened. I guess God heard my and my parents prayers, but its still so hard....

I'm sorry to hear about your loss, but praise God he was a Christian and that he's finally Home now. I'll pray for you and your family.

Sorry to hear about your lost, it must be hard. Knowing your grandfather was a man of God, I know he has nothing but true happiness ahead of him. I'll keep everyone that may be hurting from this loss in my prayers.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss, but at least God freed him from his suffering. It will be wonderful to know you'll see him again.

I'm very sorry about your loss. I know how you feel, as I have lost several family members in the past years and it's hard. Though it's tough to cope with the loss, I am very glad to hear that he was a believer and that he is Home now. I'll pray for you and your family.

*HUG*

I'll remember to pray for you and your family at this time, Kisa. The assurance of where your grandfather is, that he dwells with our Lord in Heaven, is such a blessing,^___^ but it doesn't ease the fact he is missed this moment.:(

*hug* You take care of yourself. :)

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Thank you all so much for your prayers. You all are so nice.
I know he has a perfect body now and is happy and waiting for us now and I am glad he isn't suffering anymore.
The funeral is Monday morning and relatives are coming in from all over so pray for that and their safety traveling.

*Envies the great party Grandpa must be at in Heaven*

I will pray that both you and your family are comforted as you deal with this loss.
Im glad that the Lord did not allow your grandfather to suffer any more, and though Im sure you feel the same, it can still be a hard time.

Your concern for his condition, and also at his passing lets me know that God has blessed you with a wonderful compassion for others. While it will be hard, never give up carring.

Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

I'm glad your grandpa is no longer suffering and you must feel the same way, but I'm also sure you're missing him at this moment. I will pray that you and your family are comforted as you deal with the loss.

Father,
Thank You for the witness You gave to Kisa. Accept him now and forever into Your arms, surrounded by You Glory. Allow them now their tears and grief and give Kisa and her family peace, knowing that Your child has simply found his way home and I pray that they will one day follow him when their work, too, is done.
Amen.
