I'm really thinking about it...even if I have to go there by myself (though I have a couple heavy metal fans who would like to go).

I havn't checked the lineup recently. However, Blindside is playing at a festival I go to alot right near my house so I may go there. If I go to Cornerstone, it will be the one in Illinois.

This is on my most anticipated list of '05. From what I've heard, I don't like it as much as the old stuff, but I'm still looking forward to it.

Ohh yes, you'll get to catch the big ,lovely one where about a million bands play. Some friends were talking about driving up for that one (it'd be like a 13 hour drive) but I'm content just to drive 7 hours for Cornerstone Florida. However, DEFINITELY check out Blindside. If you haven't seen them live already, they put on one heck of a show. It's good stuff.

New Norma Jean is very good. It's obvious, of course, that it's not Scogin's signature voice, but the new guy does a good job.

This post has been gravedug out of necessity. "O' God, the Aftermath" came out yesterday. Who got it? I did, and I'm digging it so far. It's not as good as "Bless the Martyr and Kiss the Child" but I can't take it out of my CD player. Favorite tracks so far are Bayonetwork: Vultures In Vivid Color, Murderotica: An Avalanche In D Minor, Coffinspire: Multitudes, Multitudes In the Valley of Decision!, and Liarsenic: Creating A Universe of Discourse.

I still think the double-names are cheesy, but at least they gave each name a cool subtitle. No Aaron Weiss cameos this time, but oh well. It's still a very good CD.

The new singers vocals aren't as good as Josh's --it screams just don't have that punch. But aside from that, the guitars, drums, bass it all almost sounds so much like NJ which is a good thing.

Some of the tracks, the vocals have a southern rock sound...mixed with hardcore, kind of like Every Time I Die.

Overall, its' a good album but nowhere near as good as their 2002 effort. At least they didn't sink the way Hopesfall did......whew.

Yeah, I can agree with all of that. Cory's screams aren't as powerful as Josh's. For Josh vocals, though, at least we have The Chariot. ^_^ Still, this CD was DEFINITELY worth the 10 bucks I paid for it at Best Buy. I haven't stopped listening to it since I bought it.

Bayonetwork is insanely cool. I really dig that song. Wait until you hear Liarsenic, it's great.
