This game got me into RPG'S!

Wow! Deep plot, with a very surprising twist in the middle of the game.

I HATE Disney made games, but this is definately different than I first expected! I LOVE this game!

You'd lose that bet. Made by Atlus. Tactics style battle system. Main character sings, English and Japanese language options (I picked Japanese). She fights with dolls, has the option of bringing defeated bad guys into the party.

I lost interest in it mainly because of the unimaginitive dungeon designs, but it wasn't a bad game.

I don't have a list, let me try to make one off the top of my head.

I played a Legend of Legia demo once. I didn't like the battle system.

Rhapsody does have sucky level designs and it's way too easy, but I tolerate all that because it's so laugh out loud hilarious and it's a musical. I love musicals.

Has anyone here ever played Shadow Madness or Guardian's Crusade? Those two are really obscure. I liked Guardian's Crusade a lot, I need to play it again sometime.

Nice to see my old Genesis faves like Shining Force, Phantasy Star, and Shadowrun here. Even the Sega CD Lunar games! =) But no mention of Landstalker or Beyond Oasis...

1. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (Best. Game. EVER.)
2. Tales of Symphonia (Only rented it, and I'm in love.)
3. Final Fantasy VI (Originally played on ROM. :hits_self: Wonderful game.)
4. Final Fantasy X (Good graphics, nice and straightforward.)
5. Star Ocean 2 (Unique, entertaining, basis for ToS.)
I can only think of 5, because I don't play as many RPGs as I would like to. :(

Sorry if I don't have a list of 10, but here are some I have really enjoyed.
1. Chrono Cross -- just plain awesome!
2. Chrono Trigger -- I know most have a firm belief that C-Trigger is better then Cross but whatever :P)
3. Final Fantasy 9
4. Final Fantasy 10

ON the worst List:
1. Final Fantasy X-2. So bad I couldn't even finish it. Blah!

agasfas: X-2 is indeed one of the worst FF's ever made. I'll throw in my votes for the worst RPGs of all time as FF2 (Japanese), FF Mystic Quest, and SaGa Frontier 1&2.

But nothing holds a candle to...

Unlimited SaGa.

Skies of Arcadia was very well done. ^^ The only part of the game that frustrated me was navigating by ship. x_X; So easy to miss things...

I haven't played a whole lot of RPGs, despite them being my favorite type of genre. This due to the fact I have neither a GCN, PS2, and I just recently picked up a PSX and a few games. Also, my computer had for a long time been veeeeery crappy.
