Prayer for the health of a dear friend

Postby Nightshade X » Fri Feb 25, 2005 5:38 pm

Greetings and salutations to you all. Could you please pray for a close friend of mine (she's CAA, but she doesn't come on very often so you may not know her at all)? She has been very sick for a couple months... now she's being told that there's something wrong with her brain. Here's the actual text that she sent to me this afternoon:

"Please pray 4 me. Im really sick. Now its something in my brain. More later"

A few minutes later she sent this only:

"Im scared."

Guys, this is a woman who looks fear square in the eyes and tells it to start running simply because of her faith in Christ. This tells me that something very serious is going on with her health. It's gotta be really bad for her to send me something like that... Please... pray for her? :(

I will, dude. That does indeed sound serious. I'll pray that she'll still be able to confront her fears.
K. Ayato: What happens if you press the small red button?

mechana2015: Does that answer your question?

K. Ayato: Perfectly.

oy my gosh...yes, i will pray for her! that has to be so scary, not only to be her, but to not know whats going on. I'll pray for her health and all close to her. Don't worry, though, God will take care of it all! God bless!
But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.

"The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case." - Chuck Close[/color]

Wow, that had to have been a truly serious sinus infection to make her and others think it was a brain problem.

I'll pray that she continues to feel better!
