One Eighty was such a good group... I miss them. By the way, another band that I miss that no one seems to have ever heard of is Chasing Furies. I have their first (possibly only) CD, With Abandon, and it's sooo good! My favorite! Has anyone else ever heard of them?

I think M2M is an awesome band, and it seems no one outside of the Pokemon fandom knows who they are ^^. They did the song "Don't Say You Love Me" which was used as one of the ending themes in the dub of the first Pokemon movie. It happens to be my all time favorite song!! I love their first CD, "Shades of Purple".

Man for the life of me I can't figure out what your favorite band is LS Staple is an awesome band they are one of my favorites. So very good they are. I know about Scarecrow and Tinman and Chasing Furies and I'm sure I've heard them but I completely forgot...A good band that I forgot to add is Devinity Destroyed. Kind of metalish music with organ music too!

One band that I really like but isn't that well known (at least I think..) is Bridal Party, aa older Christian version of Evanescence...oh, I bet no one as heard of those guys :laughs:

actually hitokiri, their name is wedding party, they are one of my favorite bands of all time, they really are hardly known except for those that congregate in christian goth circles, and it stinks that i can't even go to their website, but even my lil' sister who's really into pop music likes crystal river, and just somethin' about those war drums in the beginning of the cd that gets my blood pumping

Saviour Machine -gothic rock opera (almost literally opera.)
Celldweller - Faster industrial
Makeshift 3 - punk a bit emo-ish.
Noggintaboggan - punk
Calibretto 13 - folk punk!
A New Face For Mona - an old work buddies hardcore band.

i actually have all three legend cd's by savior machine, and those are absolute art, it you like their style, then you'll prolly also like wedding party, the lead singer of savior machine produced the album and it's like monastic chant meets heavy metal, really good stuff, if you ever can get your hands on a copy i do suggest that you buy it,

here's an other one that no one seems to know about, at least not any more, and that's bride, they were a really good metal band in the late 80's and early 90's, then they just kinda fell of the map, i know they're still around 'cus they put out a new cd a couple of months ago, my favorite cd that they do is called oddities, it really deviates from what you would normally expect from them, but to me with the music and the lyrics, it's just a great cd

i'm so glad to see that i'm not the only staple fan in the world, democracy vs. dictatorship rocks!!!

Yeah I don't own any of the Saviour Machine CD's but my oldest brother does and I have the 2nd and 3rd Legend CD's burned on my hard-drive. I've heard of Wedding Party but never heard them...They sound really cool though. I do know Bride though...Them and Petra are the only hair metal bands that I like. Well Rez was cool also. Anybody a Brian Duncun fan? He was one of the coolest 80's singers (he's still around though.) Him and Steve Camp...Steve Camp roxers! I need to get some of his stuff.

Whoa you just listed like the first Christian music I ever heard. I love Miss Angie Hocus pick and Scarecrow and Tinmen. Early almost grunge era Christian rock. Good memories.

You know what...Nobody has mentioned Grammatrian yet (that I remember.) These guys were one of the best christian rock bands ever.

Starflyer 59 also deserves to be on the list. They're the soft band that all the hardcore fans listen to.

Ah I see. For a while I thought that you might have gotten it from Calibretto 13's (on this CD they're just called Calibretto) indie release called, "Dead By Dawn." It's a great CD. It's like gothic folkpunk.

i work in a christian bookstore and we had a bunch of cd's by most of those ppl you listed, they just didn't sell so we had to send them back to the distributor, but if you keep an eye out on you local christian bookstore music bargain bin, they might be in there

And today, I spotted a new Echoing Green cd, plus a Joy Electric cd. My eyes were bugging out! Now, if only I had the money......

The Fall of Troy(Crazy Hardcore), Circle Takes the Square(Hardcore), Converge(Metalcore), Fear Before the March of Flames(Hardcore), Between the Buried and me(Amazing), Cursive(Indy), From First to Last(Emocore), Interpol(Indy), With Hopes Last Breath(Metalcore), and The Bled(Metal Core).

I recommend all of these to any fan of hardcore or metalcore. Especially The Fall of Troy, Circle Takes the Square and Between the Buried and Me.

EDIT: I have come the understanding that music for the Fall of Troy is difficult to come by on the net. So if anybody wants to check them out, IM at blood4bothofus. If you like hardcore you really might want to check these guys out.
