couple prayer requests...

1. My friend Frankie was in a car accident today. No one was seriously injured, but I'm worried since she's been complaining her back hurts. =/

2. Mr_Ross sent me a PM today, and well...it somewhat worried me, so please keep him in your prayers.

Will do.

About the car accident, who was at fault in the accident? If it wasn't your friend, does she know how to get in contact with the driver of the other car?
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

She said it was her fault...she and the other driver exchanged insurance information and stuff, and I don't think there was much...unhappy feelings involved between her and the other drivers, I'm just incredibly worried. x_x;

In his PM he said he would not be coming around CAA anymore. I honestly hope that changes, and I'm very deeply saddened to see him go, but I do hope that God lets him know that there are people praying very earnestly for him. =/ So mr_ross, on the offchance that you read it, I am keeping you in my prayers, as are many other people. Please don't forget that despite sadness and trials you have both God and friends here at CAA who are always willing to help lift you up.

I talked to Frankie today and she said she was physically alright, aside for a few sore spots. She's still a bit upset, and I don't know what's going on with the insurance and police reports, and I'm a tad worried, so please keep praying.

Yes, I've been concerned about Mr_Ross some as well.

As for Frankie, sometimes you can get a lot of stretching injuries when you're not properly braced for impact. Whiplash is only one type. Usually that sort of pain will take a few months to go away; only if there are serious signs of neurologic compromise (profound weakness, urinary retention (nearly or totally unable to void), intractable severe pain) does surgical intervention come into play.
