Relationship trouble

Postby Maledicte » Thu Feb 10, 2005 2:09 pm

Not mine, that is. It's between two very good friends of mine, who have been "going out" for at least 5 months, and it's become sort of a problem. The reasons why are:

1. They are both too young, and have no idea what they are doing.
2. They are both going too far, sneaking into the church basement to do who-knows-what.
3. They are no longer paying attention to their studies, nor to the word of God. I am worried for them.
4. The boy in this case has been talked to by his dad and gradparents, and doesn't seem to want to change his behavior.
5. The boy is rather aggressive, and the girl does nothing to make him stop...I'm afraid for her, and how the guy might turn out in the future if he's this aggressive now.

It's sad, as both of them have "Jesus" listed under "my hero" on both of their MySpace accounts, yet are acting this way and not listening to authorities who only want the best for the two of them. Please pray that the two of them will stop, and also that I will be able to step up to the plate and address the issue to both of them. Or at least to the girl, as I am closer to her....pray that I will have to courage to bring up the topic in conversation, and that she will listen to reason.

Thanks in advance.

I'll pray for them and that God gives you the guidance to speak to them.

definately bring this up to the girl. Then talk to the guy. (without the guy being at your presence) Although talking to the guy would be more harder in your case. Try to get a guy-friend of yours to talk to him perhaps.

an update....I just spoke with the girl today, and she said that she was considering talking to the guy about it, how he's always grabbing her in church and stuff. She says she doesn't think its right how he does this, especially during church.

Please pray that she'll be able to talk to him about this.

I'll pray that she'll be able to talk to him about this and that everything will go well.
Absence is to love as wind is to a flame. It extinguishes the little, it ignites the great.

Life is a test. It is only a test. Had this been real life you would have have been instructed where to go and what to do.

When i argue with reality I lose.....But only 100% of the time.

Once you've decided on a course of action, only you can finish it. As long as you remember that, there's nothing you can't accomplish.
