Devil May Cry Series ~ Reveiw Please!

Could anyone please give me a review of these games. Im quite interseted in playin it but the whole demon thing screams caution to me. Be as bluntly honest as you can.

Its been a few years since I played through this...um. I don't remember there being any horrible subject matter. Basicly...

[SPOILER]Dante is the son of a demon..so he is half demon[/SPOILER]

The violence is not real bad...it really was not a horrible game for storyline. Its fun as all heck...and most times your killing puppets...so I don't see anything wrong with it.

There's a fair amount of blood, but it is indeed wicked cool fun. And I know you'll like Dante, Ronin. About him though:

[spoiler] The fact that Dante's lineage is half-demon didn't really bug me much, nor the fact that his father, the Legendary Dark Knight Sparda, was a demon warrior who became a fighter for good. After all, what are demons but angels who fight for evil? Why couldn't it work in reverse, especially in a fantasy setting?[/spoiler]

All in all, I'd rate the content as no worse, maybe better than Metal Gear Solid 3, and you told me you have that. Language is nonexistant, the worst things I remember were the blood, Dante's lineage, and [spoiler]you go to the Underworld and it's like being in a giant organism, so it's creepy, but not that disturbing.[/spoiler]

DMC 2 I can't speak for, since I haven't seen all of it, but what I've seen isn't any worse than the first. I played through the first game at a friend's, and loved it.
