When I first started watching football, I was a Dallas fan. I can remember as a kid seeing Emmit be unstopable. Its a bummer that he is retiring...but he can br proud of his actions on and off the field. He truely was a perfect player. And was part of the greatest football team ever. Aikman, Sanders, Irvin, and Smith. An unstopable 4some.

Well my allegiance is with the 49ers so naturally I am Cowboys "hater" but I respect Emmit Smith for being one of the best running backs of all time.

Good old Prime Time, Deion Sanders, everywhere he went he rocked, from starting with Atlanta to San Francisco and finally with Dallas.

I would argue "greatest team ever" but not in Emmit Smith's thread. He is a class act and a great player. He deserves all of his accolades. He will not be missed because he will forever be a part of the game.
