Making a public apology.

Talk about anything in here.

Making a public apology.

Postby Heart of Sword » Sat Feb 05, 2005 6:53 pm

I've already apologized in PM, but I need to make this public as a lot of people know that I've been sort of...I don't know if I can call it fighting, but...well, fighting with Shatterheart.

So...I'm very sorry for stirring things up, Shatterheart. And I'm sorry if I was a jerk. I hope that we don't have any conflicts in the future just because of differing opinions. Thank you for forgiving me.

Hey no worries, I get a bit edgy on the hunting thing. So I apologize if it seems I was taking personal shots at you...that was not my intention. Anyway yeah. Wanted you to know I saw this and appreciated it. Sharon...why is it dark here... (inside joke)

Yeah, HoS, I just want to commend you on doing this in public. It takes alot of humility to admit to everyone a fault that you've made. This was really brave of you.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

I am relieved to see this thread. :) What happened before left me quite anxious and all I could do was wait and pray for our Lord to intervene. Apparent, He did and I'm thankful for that.

I am quite inspired by the humility and the spirit of forgiveness demonstrated here. Heart of Sword, good to hear you're sticking around. :thumb:

I commend you, HoS, for having the guts and strength of character to do this. I know a lot of people who could never do this, and I admire you for your ability to do so.

This is a good thread to see. In addition to being a resolution to conflict, it lifts my spirit slightly: at times we Christians are actually good examples to the world.

Oh, I am so thankful to see this thread. ^______^ HoS I know we were praying for you all to resolve this. I'm glad you are still with us and both have apologized.

I'm just so very happy. ^_______^ *HUGS*

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

tho i know nothing of the arguement....actually heard about something like this occuring yesterday tho....well i think it's 1. good becuz HoS..it takes God given humility and righteousness for you to admit so *hugs* 2. it's rare enough these days with Christians forgiving eachother..too often i've seen brother and sister fight and leave and then bitter anger continues in their soul.....it's uplifting to see what HoS and Shatterheart are doing: setting an example to the world....sorry UC i'm reechoing the same sentiment as ya :P lol *Hugs to HoS and Shatterheart thanks for setting the example guys ^^

...and while we're at it, i'd like to check my status with Shatterheart since i was also somewhat a part of that argument. am i forgiven of any hard feelings that may have occured? (._.) (also i rarely ever touch my PM box unless someone PMs me first. so sorry if this seems impersonal.

I have no idea what your talking about. But I don't hold grudges. So while I don't have a clue what your talking about...yes everythings good between us.
