I have about 12 different things in me roughly....I can never remember em all...but...I will tell you waht I do remember.

1: English
2: Sweidsh
3: Norewgian
4: Dutch (x2 both parents have dutch in em...just...mother has more)
5: Scottish
6: Cherokee tribe
7: Blackfoot tribe

and I know that Francis Scott Key is in my family tree......my Grandpa's, grandma's, uncle was Francis Scott Key.

Unfortunately on my mom's side....I have a whole family tree that is unknown...my grandma divorced my grandpa while my mom was really young...so the grandma I know is a step grandma....so..yeah...who knows...I might have a relative on CAA and not even know it...*shrugs* acoording to my mom....my actual grandma wasn't too nice of a person....anyway...yeah...that's pretty much my family background...as much as I know at least....but I'm sure I am boring you all now...*walks out of thread*

My family (at least my dad's side with whom he and i share the last name of (many in my family like geneology so i dont know where all of my family came from)) has been in America at lest since 1790 when the first census (i cant spell so thats probably wrong) in America was taken, so its hard to found out where i came from since there were no records before then:(. But based on the name itself, and records from these countries i'm most likely Scottish or Irish. Oh yeah with a little bit of Cherokee from my mom's side.

Well on my Father's side.
The family name may have been changed when his Great Grandfather came over with his brother's from Portugal to make it more English and he married a woman of English background in a small town in Virginia where you will find both the English and Portuguese spellings.
Then my Grandfather married my Grandmother with a Scot/Irish background
On my Mother's side her family name is Irish her Mother's was German.
Theres more that would make most families Heniz 57 when it comes to background.

ancestors hm...

Italian, Scotch-Irish, English, Cherokee. i know there's prolly other things in there, but that's the main that I know.

props to Ashley for this explanation. ^_^
Btw, Scotch-Irish is NOT Scot + Irish--it's Scottish people that immigrated to Ireland during a famine and became part of the community there.

lol that helps me even b/c i've always heard my dad's side is scotch-irish but i couldn't remember what exactly that meant.

i dont think human kind has been around for 100,000 years or even 30,000. I would say from 20,000 to 8,000 years ago. And Adam and Eve I think came from Sumeria (Or Iraq!) (Off topic i know.!)

All I know about my mom's side is that it's mainly German.

My grandma on my dad's side has a letter of proof that I'm a descendant of Isaac Newton. She even says I act like him, but I don't know if that's legit. Anyway, my ancestors in England and Scotland used to be rich.

Then they came to America, and brought their wealth with them. They owned a lot of land, and all was good.

Then some genius decided to invest our capital all for mules. We had the best herd in the country. Then one summer, my great so many times grandpa went to a fair in Texas. While there, one of the mules got sick with a deadly disease, and the whole herd died.

Ever since then, my family has been quite poor, but thriving enough to have the comforts in life such as a computer with internet access. :thumb:
I am unique, just like everyone else.

well serene, you and i have something in common, we're both desended from wealthy family, but neither of us are living off of the wealth now, i can trace my ancestry back to a wealthy family that lived in the virginia/nc area, and thomas jefferson actually proposed to one of my great, great, etc,- grandmothers, well, needless to say, she turned him down, she was a part of that wealthy family i was talking about, it's a great story, and my great grandfather on my grandmother's side was i believe the inventor of the drive-by shooting, he was a gun collector, and what he would do in his spare time is have either my grandmother, my great-aunt, or my great grandmother drive the car, and he would sit in the backseat and shoot the rabbits runnin' around outside,

in reference to what animelee was saying, the first scientists that we hear about in history, now i mean scientists, not greek philosophers, were actually christians, and when you think about it those laws that they proved also apply to the nature of God, the normal human way of thinking is to believe that you are what is important in your life, that in a manner of speaking you are the center of your universe, but according to what Jesus taught, life is not to be about us, it is to be about God, like the difference between the Geocentric (earth_centered solar system) and Heliocentric (sun-centered solar system), Jesus, the son of God, is to be the center of our lives, just as the sun in the sky is the center of our solar system, even the law of gravity, things that have greater mass have greater gravity right, well God, who is greater than everything, wants to draw all of us to a relationship with Him, it's just a matter of looking at it, the only reason why the church back then was opposed to these changes was 'cus they themselves were more focused upon what they wanted for themselves than what God wanted, and now i am done, later all

Ok I would like to say two things on my ancestary is wicked awsome but I will anly say im half Turkish and the other half is alot such as scotish german swedish romanian Holond-dutch english irish ext.

and second in responce to rwo letters ago I tell you Dawin originally may have not been christian but later on in life he did become one as well as renouncing his work he stated to the public that the research on evolution he did was wrong and gave some examples. Yet no one is told reason being is because so many people dont want christianity to win that they force people to believe and learn evolution in schools and then never alow out that yes darwin quite being an evolutionist because if that got out how many people may not have there so called "faith in evolution" because really ist that there cult to follow. A devince against religion.
