Mercenaries-Playground Of Destruction

Anyone play this yet? I just bought it tonight...so I am really hoping its as good as I have heard it to be. I rarely take a risk on games by just buying them....so I am really hoping it does not suck.

Its pretty fun so far...kinda like GTA meets Freedom Fighters. Its really fun to call in airstrikes.

Yeah it's deffinetly like a GTA: North Korea. Except that you can actually handle the darn helicopters and the gunplay is easier. I love the freedom you have in it, the physics, graphics, everything. I just wish they put online support in it that would make it a complete package for me. Oh well I guess they're saving that for Mercenaries 2.

Im suprised LA hasnt posted here yet. He seamed pretty hyped up before the launch date.

Oh-well.

I played this a few times in EB, but havent had the funds to pick it up yet. But it definately has that nice-flexible-gameplay that I know we have all dreamed of before. Where you can grab any enemies weapons or vehicals and use them against him.

Please, price drop come soon. ^_^

Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

The only thing I don't like...its buggy somtimes. Sound kicks off. And you can get stuck. I was driving my humvee....ended up sliding down a hill...when I tryed to get out the humvee slid pinning me to a tree. The only way I could get out is by calling an airstrike on myself. ^^;;

I played it and even though I am into random acts of extreme violence.... it wasn't satisfying. The more I played it the more I got bored. I mean blowing up buildings is fun but if they would only let you blow up other cars and people it would be funner. Also make the cars more interesting and actually fun to drive.

Dude you can blow up cars and people. And also half the vehicles in the game are armored so they're obviously going to be slow and somewhat cumbersome.

Ya, but your penalized by loosing money.
Money = Destruction
Destruction = Fun
=> Money = Fun

I guess I am too spoiled with GTA but it isn't as fun as it could of been. I do love the particle effects and the physics engine.

No, your blowing up the wrong cars and stuff then. If you pay attention to what group your fighting, you get paid to blow up cars of enemy groups.

Yup exactly and besides you can just save, go nuts on everything, then reload and it won't matter.
