Perfect Fantasy weapons

Postby DragonSlayer » Sun Oct 05, 2003 11:29 am

I've always wondered what the perfect fantasy weapon would be since their are so many and they all have so many advantages. And theres nothing to stop you from making your own fantasy weapon. I think The GunBlade quite a weapon with advantages. As for the ultimate weapon.......I really dont know.

Gunblades are cool. I'd like to have a Gundam.

Yeah, the gunblade is truely a unique weapon, I like the idea of it. I prefer something like; a gauntlet that is filled with liquid metal so it could morph into any melee weapon, and shoot flames  (Escaflowne)

Yeah a mobile suit would be pretty neat to have - one with a beam canon like Wing Zero's. How about an Angel Arm (Trigun)?

Heh heh. Anything we want, huh?

You see, with these questions I always get a bit off the initial point of the question itself. For example, our school paper recently asked "If you could be any movie character, who would you be?" Some people said Neo, or one of Jackie Chan's character, etc. But why aim so low? My answer is "God, from Bruce Almighty or any movie similar."

So... assuming that I couldn't have an omnipotence weapon...

I'd like a skeleton made of bendable, unbreakable metal. Furthermore, I'd like the weapon to be built into me so that I cannot be harmed. Claws could slide from my skin like a cat's, except they'd be metal. Also, this could occur at any given joint. Furthermore, the weapon would have incredible stretching abilities, so I could have a sword extend from my hand. Then, I'd have to be able to fire some of said pieces of metal.

So... I think I'll just go with a longsword.

A gunblade would be interesting. Something such as a wizard wand fused with a longsword would be interesting. I think that if you fuse any weapons, you would get an interesting turn out.

The Rekka fan from Fushigi Yuugi was quite interesting and seemed fun to use. Kusanagi's (Blue Seed) in-grown arm blades were interesting, as well; at least they would be ever ready. :thumb:

My favorite weapon is the Sai. My fiancé studies Martial Arts (First Degree Brown Belt, Shaolin Kenpo) and he has a pair of Sai for practice. He showed me some basic manuevers and positions with them. *laughs* They are quite deceiving, however, of their weight for such a small weapon. Soooo... maybe some enchanted Sai would be my dream weapon.

If you are all going to bring gundams into the debate, why not talk about the Macross... That's the mother of all Giant Robots... It's a skyscraper, a starship, and can probably kick some serious butt! I mean, even the Eva can't compare (but then again, eva isn't exactly a robot...)

SDF 1, awesome! Can't beat its reflex cannons.

Mech wise, I'd take the Epyon, or Wing Zero Custom, and the Gilgamesh from Macross II is pretty cool.

I'd like to be able to zap a beam of light out from the end of my finger right into the heart of an unsaved soul to make him/her a Christian.

But since that can't happen, prayer is my weapon of choice instead. ^_^

The SDF-1... Now that'd be awesome. If we're talking Mecha, though, I'd have to say Roy Fokker's Veritech/ Valkyrie/ whatever you want to call them.

If we're gonna talk starships, it'd be a toss up between the SDF-1 and the White Star from Babylon 5.

And if we're just talking weapons... I like Devil May Cry's set up. Give me a coupla handguns and nice sword, and I'll be ready to hunt undead. ^_^

This isn't technically the perfect fantasy weapon, but lightsabers! How skilled you are with the weapon is an important factor too.

I'd have to side with LA on this one and go with a lightsaber. Orange, mind you.
