I've had two rather odd Naruto based dreams recently.

In the first one, my teacher gave our team a lecture on looking beneath the hidden, or something very similar to that. She said we had to look at supply and demand and basically gave us a lecture on economics and how that relates to being a good ninja. Then she took us on a training exercise in the woods. There was a chainlink fence and two other teams were there. We each had a rope and were told to get one member over the fence. I was elected the member to do so for my team and we cast the rope, complete with the hook up to catch on the tall chain link. Well, as I climbed to the top, the rope turned into a snake. So I grabbed onto the chainlink instead. Then I threw myself over the fence. My teacher then yelled at me to take off a shoe, throw it over the fence and get back over as quickly as I could. My team beat the other team by ten seconds in this odd little training exercise.

In my second dream, my best friend's family was all either maimed for life or killed off except for one of her cousins who I barely knew. The ninja that killed/injured them seemed to have portalled out of the sky. The ones who were maimed were injured with something that didn't just damage their chakra systems, it destroyed them completely, but only in places. The example my teacher gave was that she held up her hand and traced a line after her second knuckle of each finger if that makes sense. The chakra system beyond that point was completely destroyed in one of the victims. You should be able to outline your hand with chakra if you have enough control, but his system no longer worked that way and he couldn't. There were various other equally sick examples. Then it turned out that one of the murderers stuck around to brag in a nearby town. The cousin, my teacher and I set out to avenge the fallen and injured and the cousin went first. She wasn't very fit and had to be carried out on a stretcher. My teacher told me to wait outside the door of hall where they were going to fight. She reminded me a lot of Kakashi for her attitude somehow- but she didn't read dirty books. She fought and emerged with some minor cuts and bruises and a really bad temper. She told me it was a fight to a draw and then told me that my opponent's fighting style was some strange word that meant 'photosynthesis'. I felt strangely relieved by that remark. My teacher told me to hurry up and fight her and that she'd be waiting outside for me. I walked into the hall and some wierd lady came up and asked if it was title or non title, I was confused so she just wrote down not title and went away. My opponent looked like the 'perfect kunoichi', perfectly fit, perfectly confident etc. I was in decent shape but she made me feel like a slacker. She started talking about how she was going to wipe the floor with me, and then I woke up.

I doubt I'll ever forget the last dream I had, I was in that wierd state where you are awake and dreaming at the same time. I clearly remember being concious about the room around me but I was so tried I couldn't keep my eyes open. Just as I was about to drift off into a deeper sleep I "heard" a voice right next to me! I forget exactly what was said but the general idea was that I was alone and it didn't want me in the room. All I remember after that is sort of flying off my loft in an extreme panic and I somehow ended up outside my dorm room.

I have dreams like that alot where I know I am lying in bed and I get the sense that there is one or more people around me talking to me and stuff, so I already knew what had really happened within seconds of waking up. Still, this was the first time I was ever threatened by these types of dreams, I couldn't sleep the rest of the night.

ok guys, this dream is one that i had years ago, it's one that has stuck with me ever since, and i'm still trying to confirm whether or not it has any meaning, and if so what meaning it could have

i'm fighting a huge figure clothed in huge black robes, it could be a warlock, or a sorcerer or witch, or something like that, in any case, i'm fighting it with this rusted old pirate cutlass (curved sword), and i'm not making any progress, i'm doing well just to keep myself from getting hit by the thing, then out of frustration, i look at the blade of the sword, see how old and rusted it is, and throw it down on the ground, then all of the sudden, i'm no longer fighting the thing, and this guy dressed in green, kinda like link from legend of zelda is on top of this mountain, and he draws out his huge golden sword that has jewels on it of all different types, and he jumps up into the air does a somersault and positions the blade in just such a way so that the force from the somesault pulls the blade into a circle around him, so that when he's about to land, he strikes the figure in black and completely destroys the figure with the one blow, and then i woke up

^^;;

Oddly enough, last night I dreamed Elijah Wood was a student in the Music Department at my university. In my dream, we had known each other our whole lives, and we were the best of friends, and we spent a lot of time together. In my dream, I was in love with him, but I couldn't really ever tell him how I felt, so I went on never saying anything. He wasn't famous in the dream, just a normal everyday unfamous person.

Anyway, we wound up growing old together...as friends, and he died without me ever telling him how I ever really felt.

The message my brain is relaying: Never, ever let someone go without them knowing how you really feel about them. Don't wait until tomorrow, because tomorrow may not come.

Dreams usually reflect in someway what is happening to us, for example mine probably had something to do with my roommate leaving and me having the creepy place all to myself, if you want to know what that dream means try to think about what was going on in your life at that time. There maybe some symbolism in it.

Dreams are answers to questions we haven't yet figured out how to ask.

I had a strange dream last night . . . very strange . . .

For some reason James Bond (The original played by Sean Connery) was my father and he got the idea to move our larger TV into the downstairs bathroom. Everything was going all right after that, except James Bond forgot my name and kept calling me Daniel, which is my real Father's name. Then all-of-a-sudden my mom, who in the dream was Halle Berry, decided she hated the TV there. It got moved while I was off somewhere else. Then I come to the washroom and somehow without the TV there the lights have all stopped working. The dream ends with me taking a wizz in the dark.

Had I been much younger, I would have woken up wet.

I can't really see any symbolism in that dream . . . just weirdness . . .
I will not waver, doubt or falter for all truth in this world has been written into the book here at my side.

very odd dream last night...I dreamt I was watching America's Funniest Home Videos and they were showng clips of their Assignment america, where people were supposed to sing "The NIghtmare Before Christmas" songs after having inhaled helium. Only that on the clips, no one inhaled helium. It was all very strange and suffice to say I didn't sleep well that night.

lemme go pull mine off my LJ. it's long so be prepared.

" wrote:I dreamed that I got to go to Japan for some reason. I think maybe a class trip or something in highschool. either way it was a huge group of people that all went at the same time. the hotel was more like a hotel/mall thing. and it was like some kind of convention type thing going on. and randomly there was something about the military and guns? I didn't get that part, frankly.

anyway, I'm getting ahead of myself. I think it was my mom and I that were seated with two cute Japanese girls for dinner or something like that. I was wearing a burgundy shirt that had a line from an X Japan song on it (don't remember which) printed in white letters, and for some reason it was WAY too big for me and kept trying to slip off my shoulders, which was embarrassing. but anyway, one of the girls asked me in Japanese something like "is that X Japan" or "do you like X Japan". I was like "umm yes" in pretty broken Japanese, and I kept trying to talk to her in Japanese, but she eventually started speaking English to me, pretty decently I might add, and I felt like a moron. I don't remember what was said.

then we had to go down to some big room with a lot of tables. I looked for those girls again but I couldn't find them. I think I saw Garrett though...but he wasn't around long. so my mom and I were sitting at this long white table. it was like something big was about to go on but hadn't started yet. from across the room I spotted Akiko, the exchange student that had graduated from my highschool.

here's a bit of background story on this...I used to hang out with her in school, took her to the mall and to lunch and stuff a lot. she introduced me to L'arc-en-ciel, my first jrock love, we used to listen to it in my car and she used to say "it feels weird being in America and listening to Japanese music." never figured out if she meant that in a good way or a bad way. she brought me back a manga from when she went home for winter break. she, Melissa and I went to the prom together. she even came over to my house once or twice to watch anime with me and teach me Japanese. but after the prom something happened and she wouldn't hang out with me anymore, or even talk to me. she might have done this to others too but I felt really singled out. I distinctly remember being in choir class once, and she was passing around a little memory book she made, for people to sign. I asked her to let me sign it but it was like I didn't even exist. I tried to email her a couple of times after she went back to Osaka, but she only replied to me once and I never tried again. to this day I still don't know what I did wrong. why did she change her mind about me so suddenly? maybe it's because I wasn't "cool" enough. goodness knows I was pretty much an outcast and a big time anime/manga idiot.

anyway I never really got to say goodbye to her properly before she went back home.

so, back to the dream. she's all smiles and seems happy to see me. we leave the hotel/mall thing and I ask her to show me around the city. for some reason she runs everywhere we go and I have the hardest time keeping up with her. she showed me all kinds of cute stores and we went to a different mall (which looked strangely American).

at some point I was back at the hotel/mall and she was gone. then me, Melissa and some other random people from my highschool were in some room with big effing guns. I don't know why and I don't remember what else happened.

because of that, yesterday was a terrible day til sometime after 7pm. also, keep in mind that I graduated from highschool almost 4 years ago. so I don't know why this stuff would be coming up now.

I had another dream last night. I've had one every night for like the last six days or something. Anyway, this one wasn't weird at all. First time that's ever happened to me I think.

I was visiting a friend's house. We're pretty close and I really like her . . . really like her. It was just the two of us and it was her birthday. All of our other friends were busy so they weren't there at that point. I had bought her a box of cookies and was writing a short story for her. When I finished and printed it out, she gave me a kiss on the cheek and I woke up.

Now there's an awesome dream! No weirdness; very realistic; not disturbing or dirty. And I got a peck on the cheek from a girl I like. *sigh* I wish I could always have dreams like that . . .

I wish I could get the courage to ask her out . . . (SUPER SHY!!!!)

I used to have nightmares a lot when I was younger, because I was terrified of everything at the time.

I had one where I went on a field trip with my mom and my entire class to a graveyard of some sort and for some reason, Courage the Cowardly Dog was on the bus. He was trying to warn us (don't ask how I understood him) that we shouldn't go into the graveyard, but we went anyway. Then this Viking-ghost-thing came and started chasing us, and we ran and ran and ran and ran. I think we eventually got away. Later, I had a sort of "sequal" to this dream where exactly the same thing happened, except I was like, "I hope the Viking Ghost doesn't come back!"

More recently, I had a dream where I was watching some Cowboy Bebop-related thing and Ed left, so I start crying, which is odd because I don't cry.
Think happy thoughts.

When I was little I had the weirdest talent, when I started to dream and it became a nightmare I would always suddenly realize that it was a dream. And then in the dream I would just close my close very tightly and then focus on opening them again and I would be in my room awake. Like I said it was a weird talent, useful, but still weird.

In the last dream I had I was seeing the part of the Lion King where Scar kills Mufasa, and it stopped right before Simba finds him trampled, and then I woke up and I had to fight to keep the music from that scene out of my head (I love it, it's incredible, but it's so sad).

Since the "anime dream" thread disappeared, I lost an appropriate place to put this post, but I don't want to start a new one. And yes, it is anime related.

I dreamt that Motoko Aoyama and UC[REDACTED]'s Iaido instructor were practicing kendo (said instructor does both). It was really wierd. They were doing kiri kaeshi (look it up on the web, I'm too bored/tired to explain), but Instructor was blocking with a shotgun and Motoko was attacking with the backside of her sword.

The last one I actually remember was about two weeks ago. I dreamed that I woke up from a sleep only to hear my mother crying telling on the phone my neighbor died. She goes on about where she will be buried and that it will be Friday. Well, here is the odd part and I am not lying to you. Last week the same neighbor died and the funeral was on Friday. I am still clueless why I was given that dream.

I just had one where a wolf with gray-lavendar (I know...o_O) fur and a white face was hit by a train and his leg was broken. I thought he was dead. We picked him up and he awoke and was looking around kind of dazed...one ear was off to the side and one was sticking up (awwww). We brought him into the building and it was full of kids. He squirmed out of my arms and ran down the stairs, slid into the kid-filled room, and panicked. We were chasing him everywhere! We finally caught him and had to wait for a rehabilitator to come get him. ^_^;;;

I need to mention that the youth in the room were singing "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" and a weird song called "I'm Powered" about having gas. *cracks up*

I had a very strange dream last night...

Me and christiangirl were shopping at the mall for comic books when all of the sudden ninjas jumped out of the book "Naruto" And started to attack people. Me and Cg looked at eachother and nodded. Then it showed a scene of ninjas having pizza (dont ask), and then it went back to me and Cg all dressed up in ninja clothes. We both had a sword in our hand and we ran towards the ninjas eating the pizza. The ninjas got up from the table and all had pizza in their hand instead of their swords(O_o..yeah I know..its weird). Me and cg looked at them as if they were crazy...then the unthinkable happens..The ninjas start to throw all the Pizza at us. We run around the book store trying to dodge all the fly pizza coming for us. The ninjas were coming in all different directions throwing Pizza at us. Me and cg fall through a trap door before the pizza it us. We Land completely unharmed. We look around..the ninjas had dissapeared. Now the setting was at my Middle school. There were teachers surrounding us. We were back-to-back holding onto our swords.....and then I woke up.

Heh heh..and that what my dream was...Gah! And I still cant get over how weird it is!!

I wouldn't have dodged the pizza...I would've caught it in my mouth!

Mmm...pizza...

Oh man, I had the BEST dream ever last night. Basically

[Dream deleted to protect the guilty...in other words, me]

and we went out to dinner! Then I woke up...but,

[Anecdote deleted for same reason as above]

so I can't WAIT until the 19th! W00t!
