Praise the Lord!
Hallelujah!
Shout for joy!
I don't have to be afraid!

Thank you, God for your angels that encamp about me, especially while I'm driving on the slippery, snowy roads!
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone
And so hold on when there is nothing left in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!' ...you'll be a Man, my son!

Praise God.
I was having a bit of a bummer day yesterday and he lifted me up and gave me joy. In fact, all through my life he has blessed me in abundance - the greatest blessing being the greatest gift; Jesus Christ.
Praise God.

Thank you for the lady behind me in church who sings off key,
because it means I have good ears to hear her!

Thank you for having to park in the farthest parking spot from the store,
because it means I have legs to walk!

Thank you for my annoying alarm that rings every morning,
because it means I have life!

Thank you for leftovers again,
becuase it is a reminder of the bounty you've blessed me with!

Thank you for your subtle blessings, Lord!

Psalm 91
1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD , "He is my refuge and my fortress,

my God, in whom I trust."

3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare

and from the deadly pestilence.

4 He will cover you with his feathers,

and under his wings you will find refuge;

his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

5 You will not fear the terror of night,

nor the arrow that flies by day,

6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,

nor the plague that destroys at midday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side,

ten thousand at your right hand,

but it will not come near you.

8 You will only observe with your eyes

and see the punishment of the wicked.

9 If you make the Most High your dwelling-

even the LORD , who is my refuge-

10 then no harm will befall you,

no disaster will come near your tent.

11 For he will command his angels concerning you

to guard you in all your ways;

12 they will lift you up in their hands,

so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra;

you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

14 "Because he loves me," says the LORD , "I will rescue him;

I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.

15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him;

I will be with him in trouble,

I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him

and show him my salvation."

Jesus, thank You, that You are our refuge and shield. Thank You for loving us first. Thank You for delivering us from sin by Your sacrifice.

Yahay, the "lets us praise him" thread has resurfaced.

Thank God for being himself.
For the beautiful world he created for us to dwell in, with mountains and trees and streams and bears.
And thank him for selecting us to be his children after we rejected him.
Thank you Lord God.

Praise you Lord for your lessons.
Thank you Lord for fellow Christians, and the blessing they are - even though they are often unaware of it.

Praise you Lord for you glory, power and righteousness.

Isaiah 53:7 He was oppressed and afflicted,
yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before her shearers is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.
8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away.
And who can speak of his descendants?
For he was cut off from the land of the living;
for the transgression of my people he was stricken.
9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked,
and with the rich in his death,
though he had done no violence,
nor was any deceit in his mouth.

Thank You, Lord, for speaking prophetic words through men to reaffirm Your word and the fact that You are not bound by time. You have no beginning or end and there are no secrets for You.

I thank You that You sent Your Son to die on the cross to pay the penalty so that we could be called Your children. We are so unworthy, but You are worthy and we praise Your name.

Praise God,

for the grace and love by which I, underserving, am saved.
for His strength which keeps me going,
and His presence that is my constant loving companion.

Praise God. All my needs are met in him. When I come to him, I am refreashed and find happiness. He is constantly leading me to become more and more dependent on him, and more and more unable to do things without him... and when I let him take control, I am the happiest and most peaceful I have ever been.

Praise God, that after long years my Mother is recovering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome - and after so much time unable to walk she is becoming able to do more and more - and to start walking!!!!

I want to echo that praise. Thank You Lord, for my family, especially my oldest brother and my wonderful parents who have been instrumental in keeping me on the right track with You. They love me so much and this love is only a small taste of the love that You have for me, which is amazing. Thank You, Lord.

Only recently I've become aware of how scary God is in his greatness and godness, like he can do whatever he wants to do, he can make you and totally put you through "hell" if he wanted to. Praise God that he is a good God and loves us!!!

He is always watching our back and knows all our thoughts all the time, in the toilet, in the classroom, in the car, in an argument, in our bed, with our friends, everywhere, Praise God that he has shown mercy on us not because we're funny, attractive or smart, but because he is a good God and powerful beyond our knowledge. You are a great God!!!! You alone are Worthy.

Praise the Lord for his faithfullness - for the way he never leaves our side.
Praise the Lord for the stars in the heavens - uncountable, beautiful lights in the sky; each of them so far away and yet made with such intricate detail and care.

Thank God for the christian journey we travel, that we learn more about him around each corner, struggle with Christ throught the dark, overgrown valleys and see the beautiful, radient sunrises in the peaks. That we have fellow travellers with whom we travel some of the way, who know the dangers of the next 10 kms, and the younger travellers who need our help with their blisters, and have Christ as our guide and the Holy Ghost to help us through each day.

God you are awesome, you are mysterious, you are the LORD.
Glorify your name before all creation. JESUS BE GLORIFIED, LORD!!! You are beautiful.

Well, yeah. It's an old thread. I hope it's okay to dig this one up, cause I wanted to praise God for something.

God, I praise you because we are incapable of doing anything without You.
I thank you that You come into us and work out the great and marvelous things like obedience to Your word and service through various gifts. I also thank You, Lord that although it's YOU that does these things, You choose to reward us for being faithful when all we have to do is submit to You and have the fellowship that You've wanted to have with us since the beginning. And considering it all, Lord, it's awesome that all glory and honor is due Your name. I thank You Lord that You are working in every christian's life, even though we might not see what You're doing. I thank You God that You are working in my life the things that You want. May praise continue to flow from the lips of Your saints.
