I think it might be a worse pain to lose a pet than a (Christian) family member because you don't know for sure if you'll ever see them again................
I'll seriously be praying for you...I'll still mourn sometimes about my grandma's dog who died quite a few years ago, we were really close......she was like my best friend.

I will pray that your friend will find peace within God. Loosing a loved one, even if it's a pet, can hurt. The memories you have with sometime fun and cute are truely good to remember/ I had 2 dogs whom i had for a long time. They had to be put to sleep.
