I don't really know... I just feel like everyone hates me, and there's no point in living... I'm just really depressed right now... And I don't want to be.

"The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case." - Chuck Close

You are who you are for a reason.
You're part of an intricate plan.
You're a precious and perfect unique design,
Called God's special woman or man.

You look like you look for a reason.
Our God made no mistake.
He knit you together within the womb,
You're just what he wanted to make.

The parents you had were the ones he chose,
And no matter how you may feel,
They were custom-designed with God's plan in mind,
And they bear the Master's seal.

No, that trauma you faced was not easy.
And God wept that it hurt you so;
But it was allowed to shape your heart
So that into his likeness you'd grow.

You are who you are for a reason,
You've been formed by the Master's rod.
You are who you are, beloved,
Because there is a God!

Yeah.. I know what it's like... it really sucks. Everytime it happens to me I force myself into worshipping... it's usually really hard for me to start... but once I do the Lord makes it all go away... (at least for awhile)

I'll say it before Shooraijin-dono does. ^_^

If you kill yourself, you'll never be able to wake up happy. Remember, it WILL happen someday. ^_^
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

:( we're here for you, Zelda.

speaking of worship songs when you're down, my favorite one to sing is the Cares Chorus:

i cast all my cares upon You,
i lay all of my burdens down at Your feet,
and anytime i don't know what to do,
i cast all my cares upon You.

(if you want to hear the song, if you haven't before, go here: URL=http://www.higherpraise.com/MusicMidiC.htm]http://www.higherpraise.com/MusicMidiC.htm, and click on one of the MIDI files for it.)

and here are some Bible verses:

"Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. My soul is downcast within me; therefore I will remember you from the land of the Jordan, the heights of Hermon—from Mount Mizar" (Psalm 42:5-6).

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30).

and just for good measure:

yah...that's how i was a few weeks ago...and i think everyone remembers that. :eyeroll: things will get better Zelly. i know they will. during that time for me i didn't think things would every be bright...but they are...i know when it's difficult you just want to just lash out...but don't...try to remember these verses...

John 16:33-
"in this world
you will have tribulations,
but be of good cheer
for i have overcome the world."

James 1:2-3 -
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance."

1 Peter 1:7 -
"These [trials] have come so that your faith--of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire--may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed."

1 Peter 4:12-13 -
"Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed."

(kae i'm so glad you saw that add...if you hadn't i would probably have never seen these verses and would never been able to share them with so many...thanks kae)

Yeah, we love you, Zelly! Don't hurt yourself!
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

I don't want to seem like I'm waving my sufferings around bit this fits the occassion.

Zelda, don't ever and I mean it take your life for granted and even in thought, think it negatively. I have not fully understand the meaning of life until a extremely close friend of mine die this week and seeing all the grief, saddness, and hurt makes me not want to go through it again.

You may not fully understand the words "I feel like dying" to it's fullest but no one does and no one wants to see you die.

If I ever feel depressed (which is almost always), I use these songs to ease the pain:

"Promise" by Spoken
Yet another day seems like it’s wasted
You don’t feel you’re any closer to the prize
A dead end job where there’s no future
Praying that tomorrow things won’t be this way
Things will get better this I promise you
And I know that you won’t feel this way forever
Things will get better this I promise you
And I know loneliness won’t last forever
Yet another day, another tired morning
You’re catching up to your intentions
You’re thinking life has to be easier than this
Maybe tomorrow things won’t be this way
Loneliness won’t last forever
I promise with all that’s in me to leave this emptiness behind

Another song that helped me but it may not work for everyone is "The End of Heartache" by Killswitch Engage:

Seek me, call me
I'll be waiting
This distance, this dissolution
I cling to memories while falling
Sleep brings release, and the hope of a new day
Waking the misery of being without you
Surrender, I give in
Another moment is another eternity
(Seek me) For comfort, (Call me) For solace
(I'll be waiting) For the end of my broken heart
(Seek me) Completion, (Call me) I'll be waiting
(I'll be waiting) For the end of my broken heart
You know me, you know me all too well
My only desire - to bridge our division
In sorrow I speak your name
And my voice mirrors my torment
Am I breathing?
My strength fails me
Your picture, a bitter memory

Also look on the optimistic side, I am very pessimistic but at times, I force myself to be happy and optimistic.
