Postby Mr_Anderson » Mon Jan 10, 2005 8:26 pm

I finnaly beat half life 2, but have some questions.

i wont post them in this post, but in the next post because even if you put them in spoiler tags, they will still show up when you put your cursor over the thread name.

(sorry if this is considered spamming)

okay, here are the questions:
okay, i heard what happened at the end of half-life (i never beat it myself) but what happened inbetween?

how and when did the combine get to earth?

what happened to alyx, mossman, eli, etc. etc.?

Where did gordon go in the end?

if you remember, early on in the game a manhack came through a window, the window was so bright all you could see was white, is this where gman went in the end?

will you get the crowbar back in half-life 3?

why was the crowbar considered weapon (when they took them away)?

how did only headcrabs/zombies survive black messa?

since those energy orb things that you used against dr. breen (administrator) are exactly like the pulse rifles grenades, and the orbs take out a strider or gunship down in one hit; will the plasma rifle's greneade do the same?

how long has it been between the two half-lifes?

where did dog go when he flew off on the dropship?

Does dr. kleiner ever get Lemount back?
thanx for any answers ;)
I can answer most of your questions. And I don't need to put spoiler tags on these because...well you'll see. Ok we know the Combine Citadel crashed into an Eastern European city. And subsequently Earth was conquered in seven hours. Then they renamed the city City 17.

We have no idea what happens to the characters at the end and I mean it none of them.

I don't recall that part with the Manhack but if you've watched the ending the Gman does go through a door with a bright light.

I assume you'll get the crowbar back in HL3 it's the weapon that defines Half Life.

Why was it considered a weapon? Because you can hurt people with a crowbar why else?;)

No the Vortigons survived Black Mesa but this time they're your allies. And zombies really could be considered headcrabs. Remember a portal was opened to Xin and now the aliens roam all over Earth.

No idea.

Nobody but Valves knows.

Noone knows.

No clue.

The thing is the events and the ending of HL2 left more questions than answers. If ya think about it you really don't learn a darn thing from start to finish about anything. It was kinda dissapointing... Now we have to wait another 5 or 6 years to get any answers.:(

he walk off in the very end and said something like "this is my place" and then there was like a black dorr sliding in, opening to a bright light; and then it closed behind him.
bright within our hearts forever. Freedom means love

my heart, let it be forever Yours, only You can make
