Ok my name is IroquiosPliskin and the clan I set up is called The Fox Unit and you are all welcome to join it.

You already took care of that part yourself.

I saw you on awhile ago while I was playing Fable but I wanted to finish a quest first, but by then you had logged off.

And by the way I don't have a mic because I planned on buying the Live Starter Pack. I couldn't find any yesterday but I plan on calling some places and getting one in the next couple days.

Looks like the CAA clan is going to be the one Yojimbo set up, thanks to his initiative (and by virtue of the fact that CAA is taken already). If you could take care of the invites, Yojimbo, I'd be grateful. Or perhaps if you send me a high enough invite, I could take care of the clan invites. However you want to do it, it looks like you're stuck with us.

Already taken care of I sent invites to every person in this thread the day I got Live.

Some haven't responded and I did make the mistake of inviting one or two that were already in clans. You already have the power to invite whoever you want as a member so it's cool.

Well, Saint Kevin, my friend Jeff and I got ourselves into a clan battle. We fought bravely...but...we got our sorry rumps handed to us.

Oh, and Kev? I really DO play much better. I just haven't got enough sleep to work my hands that fast lately...

Lol I was looking at the stats on Bungie and saw that. I was thinking "dang you got your butt's royally spanked!" But it's all good stats don't matter.

Had a good couple games earlier with you guys though, but ya gotta get some mics.

I hope we can get some more clan matches in the near future as well.

Darn...I guess I will have to get over my addiction to World of Warcraft and start getting on Xbox Live more often :lol:

Yeah I was playing WoW almost exclusively till I got an Xbox and Live. But yeah we should get some more games going.

The Fox Unit's Stats - For those who care. Check out the first game - we lost 50-10. There really is only one way to go from there I guess. I blame the lack of headsets. It's amazing how a team that communicates can do so much more than one who can't. Anyway, I just wanted to point out the bungie.net stats to those who were unaware that they existed.

Wondering who's who:
Cbwing0 = himself
Iroquios Pliskin = Yojimbo
Kulpa = Yours Truly
Ramirez16 = some random person who got added to the clan today
Krubaka = Zilch
Rumpojec = Zilch's friend
(or maybe I have the last two mixed up - It's hard to tell as they both don't have headsets yet).

Don't forget Zedian. And yeah you guys did absolutely awful that first game.

But hey we made it up with all those games we played last night. Only won about half of them, but one or two went right down to the wire, and not to mention we got to rank 3.

(chuckles) Actually, I'm Rumpojec. But that's okay. I really do apologize. I mean, I'm the guy who has taken on his entire youth group and won every single deathmatch played at CPC Youth Group. I'll do better next time, promise.

Dude I don't care man it's just a blip on the stats and I could care less about those. I just have to raz you guys for losing that bad on principle.

But you gotta get some games in with us we've been playing everynight for the past three days. And get a headset too it helps.

We have played several minor clan matches (minor in terms of the numbers of players, but the stakes are the same). So far our record is 4-10 (4 wins, 10 losses for the athletically challenged

), and our rank/level is 3.

I know I will be on this evening, so if we can get just 2-3 more people, we can have some more clan matches.

Wow we got spanked pretty bad tonight, but it's all good. I'm hoping we can get some clan matches going this weekend. Before we do that though we need to do training on certain maps so everyone can learn tactics and weapon placement.

Yeah that game on Foundations taught us that. Getting destroyed by two rocket launchers and a plasma sword wasn't fun.

My buddy hooked up his free two months of XBox Live at my house, and we're intrested in joining. Beleive me, we'll add 25% more buttkicking to the team. Or at least HE will. I need some practice. XD

Bad news...

I got back to school today, and I hooked up my Xbox for the first time (I got it for Christmas). Unfortunately, the game is basically unplayable on the university connection. There is so much lag that I can't do anything except wonder how I died. I guess this means that I won't be playing much until March, unless I can get lucky with a good connection sometime

Well let's just how ya play first. And I don't care how good you are Fireproof as long as you can shoot and move at the same time you'll at least be a nice dsitraction for me to kill them.

Man that's a major drag. What will I do without my backup guy? Well are you sure something's just not wrong with the connection at the school? What type of connection are you guys running, T3, T1?

I think that it is a T1, but it has always been slow (relatively speaking). I never get better than a yellow latency bar in World of Warcraft, and I suppose Halo 2 is no different. Of course I will keep trying to see if it gets better, but I wouldn't count on it.
