Ridiculously large weapons, anyone?

Talk about anything in here.

You say that now--but extended practice with even a nearly-lightweight weapon like a shinai can make the weapon feel very heavy.

3 lbs. is heavy on the battle field. Imagine German knights with 5lb. zweihanders.

Some believed that it was meant to target Israel.

I remember that, it was a fairly impressive thing, and a result of the HARP project back in the 1960's. The idea was to create super long range guns capable of striking long distance targets or putting something in orbit. Interestingly, I remember hearing that one of the prototypes was left packed up somewhere in southern Nova Scotia.
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

I've always been a longsword guy, but I'll have to try that Zanbatou idea. Souns like fun. =D
EDIT: In the immortal words of 8-Bit Theater... I like swords. Check my report on swords. =3 I have some info on the big ones, like the Landsknetchte. (Basically a German Zanbatou.)

I'd go for a nice longsword. (they're lighter and faster than you probably think, once you get the angles down.)
The cake used to be a lie like you, but then it took a portal to the deception core.

i actually own a 5 ft long scottish claymore, the blade is dull, but that's ok, the blade is thick, but not wide, i'd use it as a first attack weapon or if i was gonna take on someone on horseback or use it more like a spear, at least in closed spaces, if i was outside and i could get a full swing going with it, i could probably take an arm off even if you had armor and a sword to block it just due to the sheer force of the blow from the weapon, after my first attack though, or once i knocked my opponent off of his/her horse, then i'd switch to either my straight sword, or my katana, those are the ones i can beat someone with
