angel-d, i want you to picture this okay?? there is a man waking up one morning to his little son, who he loves so much. he kisses him and his son asks if he can go to work with him today. the man agrees and takes his beloved son to the train station where he is the train conductor. as a train rounds the bend his son's rubber ball bounces onto the tracks. the son runs out to retrieve his toy when his shoe gets caught on the tracks. as the train gets closer there is no time for the conductor to run out and help his son. he has two choices 1:derail the train and kill hundreds of people and save the son he loves so much or 2:let the train pass by, killing his son but saving hundreds of people. the conductor watched as his beautiful son died to save so many lives. the conductor was God and the boy was Jesus. thats how much God loves you, enough to watch his own son die to save all of our lives. as soon as i read your post my heart broke for you. please know that i am being completely sincere. you will be the top of my prayer list. i will pray for you untill this passes, however long it takes i will pray for you. i dont know you but i care for you so much, not in a gross way but in a brotherly way. there are so many broken people in our nation. who knows, mabey God is putting you threw this so that one day you can help other people in the same situation and be a leader and make a difference.

AngelDragon wrote:*nods*.. its amazing how caring everyone is here. I've never gotten so many IMs in my life it realy ment something to me. Now i have around 5 friends, and it used to be i never ever had any. I'm realy glad i posted this... i think i can work out all my problems if i have some help from friends. i know i'll still have urges to cut, and i may do that once in a while for habit... but i'll try to stop.

Glad!! Glad to see you're having second thoughts. A lot of us (including myself0 have considered suicide at one point or other and its not worth always worth it. I hope and pray that your problems will sort themselves out sooner or later. :thumb:

Everybody goes through tough times. Including me. But here's what I do about it:

For one, you can't beat prayer.

Second, If you're going through a tough time, just keep this in mind: it's all temporary. Some day, you will look back on this time, and it won't even matter to you anymore. Someday, when you're in heaven a thousand years later, you won't even think about it. There are much better things to come. Keep that in mind.

And please, don't even let the thought of suicide cross your mind ever again. If you feel like it again, don't hesitate to talk to us.

Taking up a hobby or setting a goal to work towards may also help. But above all, please don't give up hope. :thumb:

I will definitely pray for you right now. I'm thankful you are feeling better and so many here are chatting with you. PM me if you ever need someone to talk to. ^__^

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Good to hear things are looking up. I will pray too! Hang in there, Angel. No matter how hard life gets, God is always there for us, even when it doesn't seem like it.

I'm so glad to know that you are feeling better.
I will be praying for you and I hope that the rest of your problems work out.
As many have said, it is worthless to try thinking of suicide. And it will help to take up a hobby or goal to help keep you focused.
Sometimes, it seems like God isn't there during our toughest times, but those our the times when he carries us.

Jesus loves you. Give up all your worries to Him.

Watch out when you're cutting...like Shooraijin-dono said, you could cut something really bad. Do something to take your mind off those things and get your mind on God. Try doing a Bible study or joining a ministry at your church.

I'll be praying for you.

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall

Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

Instead of sitting back and resigning them to their fate, Sephy's_Blade, if you're going to pray at all for someone you need to take it seriously. Otherwise don't bother posting here; worthless prayers like that aren't worth the time it took you to post such an inconsiderate message.

That goes for everyone else too. If you're going to say you're praying for someone, take it with the utmost sobriety and be serious here. Otherwise your posts will be deleted and you WILL dealt with. Prayer is an extremely serious aspect of the Christian life and I expect it to be treated as such.

PLease don't! You dont need to do it. Just sit back and pray and God will make you feel better by giving you the assurance you need right now. Praying helps and so does listening to those who care about you. If you do it, many people will be sad and will will lose a member of CAA! Stick around with us and see its not so bad ^^ *hugs*

I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better about suicide, but cutting is still an issue that you should try to deal with. It seems that I've known an unusual amount of cutters in my time, but going to a therapist or seeking help of some kind has worked wonders for them. I know that it is always hard to go to someone with problems like this because it means trusting someone with the details of your private life, but I pray that you have the courage to do it. Another thing that can help is after you make the decision to stop cutting, have a friend that you trust go through your room and take away anything you could use to cut yourself with so that when the temptation comes next time it won't be so easy to give in.
