Guess that GAME!!

Have a video game or or VG review? This is the place to to discuss it! We also accept discussions of board games and the like, but SHHH! Don't tell anyone, OK?

Guess that GAME!!

Postby bigsleepj » Tue Jan 04, 2005 8:49 am

Hmmm. Maybe this should go in the "Goof Off" Section. Oh well.

The object of this game is for someone (such as myself, the instagator) to post a picture from a PC, X-Box or PS2 game and everyone must guess what it is. :) Also they must drop a clue that might help the players guess what the game is. Off course you can Google if all else fails.

If you got it right then you can post a picture of a game and give a clue.

I hope this catches on. :)

Clue One: Danse Macabre
Clue Two: Run you pigeons! It's Robert Frost!

Grim Fandango, which I have never played. I just recognize the art style.

Wow. Random informational osmosis pays off! Like the time I won Trivial Pursuit by knowing that the song "Girls, Girls, Girls" was done by Motley Crue, even thugh I've never heard the group before or since.

"My boss is always giving me these motivational books - "They Bought the Farm, Now Sell Them the Cows"... stuff like that."

Man it's been years since I played Grim Fandango. I think Lucasarts still sells all of those classic adventures games on their site...... I need to order some.

So, where's the next one?

That'd be Alien Hominid for PS2.

Ah, yes, Alien Hominid..... I need to pick up a copy of that game, also. Pretty cool that they actually got to bring it to the consoles.

Alright, let's bump up the difficulty here kids....

Sync, you are a genius! Correcto! Its also the best game I've ever played (but sadly not known by the majority of pc gamers).

Is that Uru by any chance?

not the Myst series but it is an adventure game, that might narrow it down to about the only other company that publishes the genre anymore.

"deserted planet" could be another hint I guess. It's been well over two years since I played it, so I dont remember much except the awesome render art that was made for it.
