Prayer for tonight

Postby Syreth » Wed Jan 05, 2005 5:04 pm

I could really use prayer tonight. I'm leading worship at a worship service at my church and i've never done anything like that before so I'm a little nervous. I just need to focus on God and it'll be okay, even if I make mistakes. Also I'm going to be the new worship leader (eek) when i get done with college, so you can be praying for me about that too, that God would prepare me for that. Thanks!

thanks for the prayers, guys. It's interesting to lead worship, because it's all about God, of course, but when you focus on Him, everything else comes together, just like when we live out our lives. I felt that it went well and I definately worshipped which can be a battle sometimes... There are times that I'm too focused on the music, but God kept my mind in the right place. Thanks again!

Kind of late on the reply, but I'll continue to pray for you buddy. Pray, that you will or continue to inspire and impact the life's of many in the service (future ones too). Have faith and God will have you prepared to be the new worship leader. I'll continue praying. Keep it up.
