Open Transport is an integral portion of OS 9. If you installed OS 9 correctly, you have Open Transport. You can verify this by looking in your new OS 9 System Folder, under Extensions. There should be files in there that look like this (these are examples):

Open Transport
Open Transport ASLM Modules
OpenTpt Remote Access
OpenTpt Serial Arbitrator

If you don't see these files in the Extensions folder, your OS 9 installation is incomplete, and you should stop Classic from System Preferences, remove that System Folder (assuming you haven't customized it) and try to reinstall it.
