Hehehehehe...

Um...

Yeah...

Maybe this belongs in goof-off, but they you couldn't have them side by side! ^_^

I used to be in LOVE with Mizuno Ami (i'm using Japanese name order). I actually woke up in a fever wondering where she had gone... hehehehehe...

Hmm... I (along with every other guy into anime at that time) also had a thing for Lum based on the second UY movie... Of course, that became impossible when I saw the TV show... She's such a jerk! (but it could be said that CHANGES by the movies, though she's still spoiled in the movies...)

Currently, um... No one really. If I could choose a girl, maybe Ryoko from Nadesico. Yurika's a ditz, Megumi's a sl...ender little piece of turn off, Ruri's too young (though technically we're old enough to be all of their great-great-great grandparents...) but if she were movie age, I'd wait two years! Hehehe... Ruri is nice, and not insane like the rest of them. But, insane can be good... Just not Yurika insane... All the other girls are selfish and vengefull, including Megumi, so I'd say either Ryoko or Ruri.

Um... If she weren't so stinking young (which should be a problem for hibiki-sensei as well) I'd say Fuuko from Strawberry Eggs. Though she sorta has the wrong impression, and is loyal to him in any case...

So, yeah, it would still come back to Ami. She's loyal, smart, kind, and it would be a fun challenge to get her to relax! I would take up that challenge! Hehehehehhehehehehe. Of course, she is deathly alergic to love letters, so I'd have to be a bit more... subtle.

I'm not going to add anything of my own opinions on this thread in regard to the actual topic. Perhaps you may call me a bit too harsh (and I might agree with you), but I'm generally for not doing this at all. But that's just me. Carry on.

Darn. You left Belldandy (Ah! My Goddess) and Deedlit (Record of Lodoss Wars) off the list. No list like this is complete without them.

Said it already, but Ryoko (Tenchi), and Misato (Eva)
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

I agree. I feel a bishoujo-esque list like this feels naked without her. Although I did used to like some of the Love Hina girls.... until I realized their personalities didn't matter since they (in the manga) were there for fanservice.

Hmm... Belldandy! That's right! Now, deedlit I'm not so sure of, but Belldandy is on my list too... Actually, she's at the top even above Ami... Well, maybe not...

(this whole thing is just for fun, as I don't think any of us actually have crushes on fictional characters, unless you're like 13 or something... or 15 for that matter...)

I thought I listed all of the LH girls, but of course I think even the Kendo girl was only 14... They don't make them look their age in that show...

As for the sailors, I mean their ages at the end of Stars...

Of those in the list that I recognize, in my opinion Amy Mizuno is the best-looking one. (And of the Sailor Scouts, she's the sweetheart of the bunch as well.)

I have a question, why bother making a post saying you don't want to post here instead of just not posting? I can understand not wanting to post, but I see no point in interrupting the topic with stuff that should already be self-explantory by not posting.

I do agree that we shouldn't have crushes on fictional characters becuase they aren't real, but this topic is just for fun and there is nothing wrong with liking the characters as long as you don't have a crush on them, don't lust over them, and understand that they aren't real.

If I had to pick some characters on the list that I liked, I would probably pick Kiyone, Tifa, and Celes. They are very cool and very likable characters.

Aoyama Motoko--Kendo Girl (16... dang! time flies. I was her age when I got into LH)
"Kitsune"--The shorthaired mischievous one that always has her eyes closed
Shinobu--The shorthaired middleschool girl that cooks well.
Koalla Su--The hyperactive Indian who proves that the Japanese know absolutely nothing about other ethnicities
Urashima Haruka--Keitarou's aunt (she's fortyish, and yes she doesn't look her age)
Sarah McDougal--they eight year old Californian. If you find her attractive, all I've gotta say is that you're a pervert.
Otohime Mutsumi--The ditzy one that faints a lot. Out of all the LH girls I've seen so far, I like her the best.

I think there are others, but I haven't seen the series through.

Ok... I missed Kitsune, that's about it...

I got naru, Motoko (even if not by name), And Mutsumi... The others are out of bounds (including the aunt in my opinion) for me... And if it weren't for her age, and you know the fact she's like in junior High, I'd say Shinobu was the best one because she's the only really nice one who's not a ditz... Ok, so I suppose being a ditz isn't that bad, but I still say she's a decent step above Mutsumi... As for Sarah... She's a brat and deserves a good spanking from her mother or father... since whatshisname is really just sorta babysitting her, I guess that's why she's such a brat because he can't discipline her the same way her parents could... (give me a break, I haven't watched it for a year or so...)

Yes, but it's rude to go into a topic you don't like and say nothing but "I don't like this topic. I don't want to post here". Technically, that is going off topic.

More video game characters I like just to keep this on topic:
Samus (Metroid)
Alis (Phantasy Star)
Shir (Phantasy Star)
Charlotte (Samurai Shodown)
Sueng Mina (Soul Calibur)
Sophitia (Soul Calibur)

You're right, actually, BriC. I suppose it's cool if we keep the lust factor out of the equation.

I thought Shinobu was cool until she started whining all the time.

I'd forgotten about Kitsune from Love Hina, she's pretty cool too. Who's lusting? They're great characters is all.

Fine, whatever. You missed my point. Some people didn't want to make posts about Bishoujo faves and just want to make posts about how they don't like the topic or how they don't want to post here. That's what I meant. It's off topic and stuff like that would be better suited to outside the topic.

I don't want to aruge with you, but accusing me of stumbling when I feel as if I didn't do anything wrong is going too far. I understand that you are the mod here, but I do not like how you are handling things here. Get this straight, I hate arguing with people and it makes me angry when I get accused of doing something wrong when I didn't do anything wrong. You are supposed to be the mod here and here you are coming back to this topic for this with your rude and forceful posts instead of consulting me via PM. I don't care who started this, but I want this to stop and more arguing won't solve anything. So please, no more arguing about this! End of discussion!

But, I do wish I had put belldandy... Maybe Her instead of Yuffie.

I simply answered your post, telling me where I can and cannot post kind of annoyed me...I was not trying to close the thread or change the topic, I simply stated my opinion and made a few jokes...don't take everything so serious sheesh.

"You are supposed to be the mod here and here you are coming back to this topic for this with your rude and forceful posts instead of consulting me via PM" Sounds like you have the issue here, and not me. Should you have anything else to add to this you can PM me. And for future reference...its not very polite...nor does it follow proper forum etiquette, to tell an admin where to post...you created an issue when you got all defensive...just as it is your right to post about thinking an anime girl is cute, I have the same right to disagree. Anyway, now that we have covered that...continue.

Hmm... Off topic, but a little wisdome from the wisest book on earth:

1. talk first in private
2. bring the person before an authority (like a pastor, or in this case, another mod)
3. Bring it before the congregation.

That's about it...

I also had a thing for Sailor Jupiter (Kino Makoto) for a while. I mean, all of the inners are nice (Rei being the least) but Ami and Makoto would be the most likely candidates if they were real. But, I loved the relationship between Keiichi and Belldandy... So not soap operaish, which I was very appreciative of.

Ok, everyone... This thread was as a comedic countermeasure to the, for some reason, still alive and kicking it "bishounen faves" Things got a little hot in here and everyone abandons it? Come on guys we ain't gonna let it die, are we?

Next up... What are your faves (other than belldandy, since that has been brought up repeatedly) that are not on this list?

What about the girls from Onegai Teacher? I mean, what'sher name (the one that liked Kei other than Mizuho-sensei) was sorta, well... I don't know... Or whatabout the Jupiter knockoff that was really shy... Why can't I remember any of these girl's names... Anyhow, there's like a whole bunch of UY girls and Ranma girls and then there's the Dragonball girls and, oh yeah, minmei and any other macross girl... Did I mention Myung Fang Lone and Sharon Apple... Nope, sure didn't... Then there's the blonde girl from Macross Plus too... (even though MP's style is a big turn off for me... very angular...) Hmm... Did I mention any of the knight sabers... oh yeah, I did... Well, how about a comparison... 2038(I think that's right) knight sabers vs 2040 knight sabers. I personally like the new styles better... Bouffants are nastery... Oh, and whatabout kid/schala from the Chrono saga? Or Marle? Or Lucca? Or Aya... eew, 80's hair... I knew the bouffants were actually older than dirt, CT just proved it to mankind...
